    We paid for this business to repair a crack in our pool wall along with cosmetic embellishments. The tile has popped out, the crack has recracked bc they only repaired one side of it. They will not respond to us even when we offered to pay more. No response at all.

    We did a remodel for this customer about 10 months ago. There were cracks in the surface of the pool which is usually caused by ground movement. We explained to the homeowner the process of repairing it, including installing staples. We are not sure what the homeowner means that we "repaired one side of the crack." Staples are installed from inside the pool and are long enough to reach into the gunite. We can only deal with a crack from one side, which is from inside the pool. We have before and after photos of the repair/remodel. Our contract specifically explained that crack repairs we complete cannot be warrantied since there is no way to prevent additional ground movement in the future. I was out of the country with my family for several weeks during which time the homeowner attempted to contact me. I will be happy to return and check on the cracks and offer a solution, but there could be charges involved since this is not a workmanship issue.
