I bought a used Cadillac CTS-V from Hurst Autoplex on October 10th, 2022. I was told that the vehicle had no damages but it did indeed have damage reported on the carfax, which wasnt provided. The front bumper was repainted poorly and has scratches that were described as dirt.Business response

As we do on every vehicle on our website, the carfax is provided. If any vehicle has any cosmetic things wrong at the time of delivery, we would have clearly put it on the We Owe and taken care of it. If the customer would like to bring the vehicle in for us to look at it, then we can see what we can do to rectify the situation. So I started working on a deal with salesman ************************* at Hurst Autoplex last week. They offered me a deal in writing but I had to wait for the registration on my vehicle to process before I could trade it in. I stayed in contact with ******** and as soon as my registration cleared I borrowed the $1398 cash need for the difference they quoted me. I called ******** he said great come in, pay your difference and we will finish the deal, the car is in make ready. When I got there ******** said he made a mistake and quoted the wrong car that they would need $3000 or more to make the deal (even though they messed up). They refused to stand by the original deal they promised. Now I have a loan for nothing.Business response

The initial offer was on a different car. He switched to a different car that was a higher price. Unfortunately the vehicle in question was never changed on any paperwork. The car that the customer wanted was at a much higher price. We never offered the other vehicle in writing to the customer. Honest mistake. There was nothing that we did not honor. Just a miscommunication. We are sorry for the miscommunication.
