    ### Review of Reprise Financial Services I recently took out a loan with Reprise Financial Services, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. The interest rate they offered was extraordinarily high, which made the loan quite expensive. To manage this, I attempted to make additional payments towards the principal, hoping to pay off the loan faster and reduce the overall interest I would have to pay.However, Reprise Financial Services blocked my attempts to make these extra payments. This restriction was not communicated to me when I took out the loan, and it has been incredibly frustrating. Despite reaching out to their customer service for assistance, I received slow and unhelpful responses, leaving me with no resolution.The lack of transparency regarding their policies and the poor customer service have significantly impacted my financial planning. I expected more flexibility and support from a financial institution. I would not recommend Reprise Financial Services to anyone looking for a loan, especially if you plan on making additional payments to reduce your debt faster. Their policies and customer service leave much to be desired.

    Reprise financial offers you a loan amount that they know they will not follow through with. They end up getting your bank information, routing and bank statements, your personal identifying information, DL pictures front and back, vehicle registration and insurance information, and credit report. They pre-approve you knowing your credit report so that they can falsely get all your information, then when they are finalizing the deal/offer it is significantly lower than approved with an extremely high APR. They pre-approve this great deal just so you will give them your personal information knowing that they will not follow through with the original terms. They are fraudulent and dishonest. I had asked them to delete all my personal information because they are committing fraud and now I'm concerned they have all this information about my accounts and what they will do with it since they lied and coerced this information out of me with fraudulent offers. They refused to delete my pictures and personal information.

    I am rejecting this response because:   they replied with a generic response of looking into it. Everyone knows that a business says that to placate people without actually invoking change. They should never ask for more personal information beyond what is necessary for checking rates, then once they offer and you accept, only then should they get the finalizing information like bank statements/deposit account information. I still stand by my original statement and talking to their representative who talked in circles, I am even more adamant that they are doing something fraudulent and back handed to get more personal information than is necessary and using bait and switch to get the information.

    Reprise.....They made a commitment of a certain amount then when it was time to give me that amount that came up with another amount Instead after hitting my credit report with a hard hit instead of a soft hit like they said. Not a company of their word.

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Reprice Financial regarding a misleading loan application process and an unfair credit inquiry practice. On June 10, 2024 , I applied for a loan through Reprice Financial, prompted by an offer I saw through Credit Karma. The application process initially indicated that I had a possibility of getting an emergency loan, which I urgently needed for my dog's medical procedure. During the application process, I provided my Social Security number and consent for a credit pull. Immediately after, I received an approval message on the website, stating that I was approved for the loan. However, it was only after this approval message that the system asked for further details regarding my personal information and collateral. Upon providing this information, I was then informed that my collateral did not meet the requirements, essentially retracting the initial approval. Specifically, the following issues are of concern:1. Misleading Approval Notification**: The system provided an approval message before collecting all necessary information about my collateral. This approval was misleading and gave a false sense of security regarding the loan.2. Unfair Credit Inquiry: The hard inquiry on my credit report was conducted before confirming the eligibility of my collateral. This practice negatively impacts my credit score without ensuring I qualify for the loan.3. Lack of Clear Information: The process did not clearly explain that multiple cars could be required or that additional cars could be used as collateral. This lack of transparency is unfair to consumers who are led to believe they have been approved based on incomplete criteria.I have already contacted Reprice Financial to address this issue and requested the removal of the hard inquiry from my credit report. However, I have not received a satisfactory resolution.

    Company lies about their initial offers. Says you are pre-approved for a certain amount at a lower interest rate then their competitors... then after collecting all your info and doing the hard credit pull. Will pull the rug from the interest rate and the amount you were "approved " for. Say your only approved for a fraction of the amount at a 30% interest rate or higher. Then after you choose not to go through with it... turn around and sell your information so thay they still make money off you.

    I took out a loan with this company. I am going through a financial hardship and have not been able to make a payment recently. They are going to extremes to get payment from me including reaching out to my family members. They do NOT have anything to do with my debt and financial situation and should not be dragged into this or contacted at ALL. This is a complete invasion of privacy and unnecessary. They do not have permission to reach out to anyone in my life. I am shocked and appalled at this.

    I took a $10,000 loan from them, and after a year of auto pay, I checked my account and still owed over $9,000.I started making extra payments to be applied to principal. They used the extra payment toward "payments" so my payments were made until Nov. 2024. I continued to make extra payments, call ask them to apply to principle only. They still took out interest almost $600 interest for the month of May 2024. I called today 5/31 to pay off the loan, and speak to a supervisor to look over my account and check, but he wouldn't do it. Just told me that was interest I owed.

    Bait and switch scheme. I was offered a minimal personal loan of $4,000 at 23 % by mail. My reason to be interested in it was to pay some credit card balance that currently pays more interest on the debt. I never requested this offer, it was a pre approved offer based on credit information they got of me. I opened the letter, scanned a code and began filing the required information. It specified that unless I accepted an offer, a hard enquire in my credit wouldn't be pulled. My credit has not changed in the last 90 days or so.Well, they did a hard enquire to Experian and came back with an offer to make me an automobile collaterized loan.So I ended with a hard credit enquire to Experian and an offer I would have never enquire nor contemplated due to lack of interest and an excuse by one of their employees named ******* that explained to me the legal technicality justifying their act.BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY MODUS OPERANDI TECHNIQUES. It is an obvious ussual action that can be verified by reading the many negative reviews on different platforms like ******* yelp and in the BBB site.
