    I have a loan with this company. I had a 2011 Kia ******* as collateral. The car was totaled the company got over $6500 for the car. I understand them getting the money but the issue I have is I was told by the company that the lump sum when not be deducted or applied to the balance of my loan. So if you arent deducting the dollars from the balance what is the money being applied to.

    I like to report Reprise Financial. I have an account with them. I pay them on time. Today makes the third time my payment did not go through. I repeatly gave them my credit card information. Twice I was on the phone with a guy name ******. I must say he asked for my personal information over and over. Every month the same thing. I had this account for about a year. I never had any problems with my payments posting until three months ago. Today he asked me for a different credit card/bank information to process my payments. Then he place me on hold for over fifteen minutes. He never came back to the phone so I disconnect. He never called me back. Remind you back in February when I was in a car accident they had no problems calling me or returning calls. The threaten to take my car. I was force to pay. They had no compassion, ethics, nor integrity. I explain the car was in the shop. In addition, I was waiting to see if my insurance company was going to totaled the vehicle. They stated they didn't care !! I had an obligation to pay them. Now, they processed my payments just fine back in April 2023. Why the hiccups now? They did not compensate me for any inconvenience. Plan unprofessional and incompetent.

    The company is portraying they are a legitimate financial institution that lends money as well as has individuals employed within *****************. With my situation, I responded to a mailer, which I understand does not guarantee lending. I enter the code and get "conditional approval" based off a soft credit pull. I proceed to enter my final personal information and authorized a "hard credit pull". After waiting for around 5 minutes, the website came back with a message based off my credit report they can extend multiple offers, one of which was an unsecured loan. They then said to finalize the loan to upload my drivers license and bank statement. By doing so website clearly indicates I would have funds. Fast forward to today, the only individuals you can talk to are located in some call center where english is not a first language. When I inquire about speaking to the "employees" shown on their website, who all say they are interested in the consumer, the foreign representatives do not transfer the call. This company is clearly misrepresenting the consumer as to the product, requesting important information like bank statements and identification information when they have no intent of helping. Until this company can make the employees available to assist the consumer that they advertise, as well as follow through on the products their website indicates as approved and final, they should not be allowed to be in business.

    I am rejecting this response because:  The business did not provide any response except to ask if this can be closed.  Bottom line this institution needs to be investigated.  This is a foreign based business who is duping consumers into thinking they are eligible for financial products, even getting the consumer (like me) to provide more information like a drivers license, banking information, etc..  Once the consumer provides the information, all communication stops.  Even with this complaint (9 months later) the business finally responded.  If you try to call the business, you cannot speak to an english speaking individual.

    I am rejecting this response because this is not a resolution.  They are only acknowledging the issue and saying they are investigating 7 months later.  This firm clearly has deceptive business practices that clearly put the consumer in danger.

    I was originally pre-approved on Credit Karma for a loan with Reprise Financial. I then fill out the application and get told that im approved. I fill out all the documentation and it says its completed and Ill be contacted within 24 business hours. They then tell me that my vehicle isnt worth enough, it was never stated that you had to use a vehicle as collateral. Stay away from this business , they pull your credit and scam you

    Applied for personal loan at Reprise Financial and it was the second one they offered me. All the messages were of the same rather than one time of needing more information. Once that was done it stated they would be in contact with me as to when I would receive my funds with in 24 to 48 hours. I hadn't received my funds or a message as to when I would and they had ample time so I called they went over bank statements but would never tell me when the money was going to be deposited they then tried to get me to agree to a title loan and said that they thought it could be unsecured but it's actually a secured loan offer. I explained that they were being so misleading and that there web site application approvals are way to misleading and lies that I didn't apply for a title loan I applied for a $4500 debt consolidated loan and in my profile it shows approved $4500 unsecured loan and never not once did I apply for a title loan. Even right now it shows approved it shows $9500 secured $4500 secured and $4500 unsecured. Where is this right to flat out lie and be so misleading. Also I don't just apply for a loan day in and day out and as soon as I applied for the loan I received an outrageous amount of calls from other loan companies I never heard of.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I didn't apply for a $10,000 loan I applied for $4500 and it seems to me no matter how many times I said it i wasnt applying for a $10,000 title loan I was applying for a $4500 loan. The pre-approval process as well is not right I was pre-approved so they could have me apply for what they wanted not what I needed. These are false when it's pre-approved gets your info and it's the same as pre-approved but denied.

    I am rejecting this response because: I was not offered a secured loan or approved for a secured loan. I applied for the pre-approved offer of the $4500 and only that offer. Your company tried to get me to do other offers like credit cards and title loan. That is not what I was needing for me the consumer. Pull your phone records listen to the conversation and I was told per email that I was approved which prior to that you had done the hard credit check. No I'm not happy no you took my credit and you wadded it up threw it in the garbage can like a no longer needed note.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I was asked to do a title loan when I explained that I didn't have a vehicle for a title loan that I would accept a offer below the $4500 I did get a loan through Bestegg where I able to get a vehicle so that I am able to do Dr ************* they didn't lie to me or try to get me to do something that I didn't apply for. I don't want a loan from your company now or ever. My bills is always paid on time and I never apply for something that doesn't meet my guidelines. Stop sending me your junk offers and quit calling my number.

    I opened a loan by myself with Reprise Financial 2 years ago. Recently my mother became paralyzed and I have fallen behind on my payments. I called Reprise and let them know I don't have any money as I am having to temporarily move to ********** to help my mom and start *** modifications on her house. I disclosed her medical status to the representative and they noted it and gave me an extension. I haven't been able to pay since then and have stayed in contact with Reprise every ***** days. Today 2/6/2024, Reprise called my mom and attempted to collect the debt from her. She is not on my loan and was not even aware I had a loan. They would not disclose the past due balance from her but wanted to take a card payment from her. I feel absolutely violated. When I called Reprise they claimed they only called her to see if my contact information changed. This is a lie because she called me 1) knowing it was a debt collector calling her and 2) giving me her card info so i could make a payment. She should have never known I had a loan or that I was past due because she is not affiliated with my loan, and does not live with me. She now feels guilty because i have spent so much of my money on helping her. She should have never known I was in debt. I feel humiliated.

    PREDATORY LENDING ALERT!! Today, 2/6/24, I applied via Credit Karma suggested Auto Equity Loan. I was told $8000 with *****% interest rate. They approved $6800 at a 32% interest rate!!!! THE INTEREST RATE WAS DOUBLE WHAT THEY OFFERED ORIGINALLY. The interest annually would bury my loan and make it so I could essentially never pay it off in time. This should be illegal- the interest added to the principal at the end of the year would raise the principal higher than the amount of the original loan. Maybe not as pertinent but still shady, when presenting the terms of the application, the terms are not mobile supported so you have zoom in, drag the screen, and really work to read them. I could not read it in its entirety without being on a desktop, while they advertise applying straight from your phone. The terms state the interest rate was subject to change but they should let people know before their credit is hit that it could double, and also make sure that its accessible in the mobile interface. It seems its designed to be a hassle to read. My credit has already been hit and I need to have this inquiry dropped from my record so I can get a loan to help fix our house plumbing issue.

    Applied for loan on lending tree. Sent to Reprise website. Provided access to bank account, sent pictures, filled out all questions. Was approved for *** loan and would receive a call within 24 hours to " expect when funds would be deposited" Next day..received call..with them wanting additional paperwork AND a bank statement. (Which showed I actually made 1000 more a month than my Gross pay guesstimate. Went back over everything with a fine tooth comb, because " the gross pay estimate was incorrect" even though it was incorrect a THOUSAND dollar to the positive MONTHLY. Now pre-approval went to 18k. Agent said she'd forward request for increase and it would be another 24 hours. So after another 24 hours and 2 more phone calls...mind you..im on the phone at this point for 2+ hours with a person barely speaking English. I instructed the agent to only return a call if the full 23k was approved. Well two phone calls now...and website shows a 500 increase. I am also contacting the *** and any other financial regulatory agency I can find. I look forward to reading about the class action law suit that surely has to be forthcoming

    I am rejecting this response because:   This is classic bait and switch advertising/ data mining. No where , nor at any point in the process, did they advertise or disclose the loan was to be secure, FOR $23000. 

    I pointed out the mistake only after the "hard pull" and data mining occurred. All I ask that the pull be wiped off my credit bureaus and now I get a "Notice of Adverse Action?" 

    Ridiculous..I look forward to the class action lawsuit that HAS to be coming with the number of complaints this bogus company collects.

    Preapproved for a Loan up to $10,000. Applied Online and was Approved for a Credit Card Consolidation Loan for a $8000 Secured Loan / $4,000 Unsecured Loan. Uploaded Proof of Identity, Access to Bank Info thru Plaid, Copy of Car Title along with Pictures to Finalize Secured Loan Documents. When logged into Account - stated that I had no Active Account and received Notice Of Adverse Action - Denial Letter in the Mail. Given the Reasons for the Denial - wouldn't they have reviewed / considered this Information prior to Approving a Loan? They need to return all of the Documents that were uploaded and Delete the Hard Inquiry from my Credit Report. This was an elaborate Phising Scam.

    I made contact with this company to opt out from being on their mailing list. There was a recorded message that wanted me to give my Social Security number so the company would know who was making this request. I did not give it out; this is my private information not to give out. So since I did not give this information the letters keep coming. STOP
