    I was shopping for a personal loan, and submitted a request to Reprise Financial for a $6500 unsecured loan. The terms were for 21% APR for 48 months, and approximately $2000 in total interest and fees by the end of the term. Once the loan was submitted, I was advised that I did not qualify for the unsecured loan, but that I could collateralize the loan with a vehicle and receive a better rate. I submitted all necessary documentation and the rate I received was significantly worse. 31% APR for 48 months, and over $5000 in interest and fees, leading to almost double the cost of the loan for repayment. Most importantly, when I complained about this, the representative lied about the terms on the contract I had in front of me, stating that the line clearly labeled as finance charges was the amount I would have to pay if I repaid the loan early. I said that it clearly showed a total repayment of ~$11,000 meaning the loan amount plus that total. She said no, the only fees were the ~$250 in funding costs. After denying the contract, I can no longer access the document to provide it for reference, hence the approximations listed here. I feel like this was a bait and switch, and I was deliberately lied to about the terms of the agreement.

    I am rejecting this response because:   This is not a response or action plan. It is simply a notice of receipt and states they will reply within 30 days. If they would like to make the situation right, they will have the hard credit inquiry purged from my credit history. This has material impact on my credit score and future financial planning.

    I was Lied to and forced into this loan from the start. I was contacted with an offer. and accepted that offer. Then without warning they changed the terms of my loan, Changed the amount they were giving, as well as the rates. I called once i noticed what they had done and complained and tried to end the loan but they pushed me and gave me a run around. I eventually just accepted that i had been scammed and would have to pay out the loan. Since then its been nothing but a nightmare dealing with this company. From them returning payments i try to make on the loan from their websites and then charging me fees for them refusing my payments. It should be criminal for such company's to work that way. I would never wish anyone to have to deal with this loan sharking , two face customer scamming business.

    This company approved me for a loan and ran my credit without disclosing the information that is required. I was approved to give me a false sense of security so that they could run my credit and negatively impact it. They then required insurance and a current registration when all that they claimed was required was a title for the car as it was a title loan. Current insurance for a car I do not drive is nonsensical and was not disclosed. This is another scam and they need to remove this inquiry from all of the credit bureaus due to not disclosing the appropriate information to consumers prior to running their credit.

    Just got a call from reprise, they offered a 23.9% . Down from 31.1%. Still a joke. The the initial offer was 15k, 325 payment, 10.9% interest.. not easy process. Not quick, was offered 15k, 60months and 550 (approx) at 31.1% *********

    On March 16, I was presented with offers to take out a personal loan. And seeing as how Im in a position of needing one, and it said I could explore options without a ding to my credit, I pursued it. One of the options was a $10,000 loan through Reprise Financial, that needed collateral. In starting the process, I learned my vehicle qualified as collateral. So I submitted the needed documents (car photos, financial info, etc.) They called me the next day, but didnt leave a message so I didnt know it was them, until the next day when I saw the number again and answered. The person didnt speak at first. When I said Hello? the second time, the man ran through a message as if he were speaking to an answering machine, and hung up. I received an email saying theyd been trying to get ahold of me, but couldnt, and to call their 800 number to finalize the loan. I just tried doing that. Their system didnt recognize my info. And when I was connected with a real person, they asked for my first and last name three times. They blurted out some quick thing about the company. I asked him if he could repeat it. He just sat there for a long time before saying something super fast and hanging up on me.This is the shadiest company Ive ever interacted with.

    I had a non secured loan with Reprise Financial. I mailed a check via the **** on January 26th, 2025. The check had not cleared the bank account, so I called and paid off the loan over the phone on February 13, 2025.     I refinanced my car with a better company. The previous company (Reprise Financial) received their payment on March 4, 2025. I have called to receive information several times since. I can no longer access my payment information from the past year. When I call & speak with a representative they do acknowledge that they have received the payment of of my account. They also acknowledge that they received an over payment, but, I am to receive an e-mail to request a refund for my over payment within 30 days. Request for a refund!!! 30 days. They charged us Per Diem on the account. & won't acknowledge if they will pay us Per Diem on our over payment. If I had seen their finance rate before the day of closing the loan last year, I wouldn't have used their company (35.5%), I just want my over payment refund to arrive within a reasonable time frame.

    I received an email today from Reprise informing me that my account was paid in full. As there was no mention as to when I will receive my refund funds I called for further information. On March 19th at 4:30PM I spoke with ****** at Reprise Financial. She again informed me that my over payment amounted to $369.25 & that I will receive a check in 45 to 60 days. That caused me to become rather upset because there was no mention of paying any per-Diem on that amount, only that I would not receive my refund for my over payment  in less than 45 to 60 days. Is this normal? Are these companies allowed to hold onto our money for that length of time. Is there any recourse that I have as to speeding up this process? Please get back to me concerning this as I am truly upset.

    On 02/03/2025 I got a loan through Reprise Financial. They wanted to use my vehicle as collateral for the loan. They said in order to do that it would have to be paid off. The agreement was to pay off the vehicle, then I would get the remaining balance of the loan which was ********. The problem I have is that they still have not paid off the vehicle. It's been over a month now. They did send a check on 02/12, then placed a stop payment on that check. I called to find out what was going on. They supposedly sent out another check on 02/25, but as of today 03/07/25, ***** Financial still has not been paid. They check they supposedly sent on 02/25/25 was never received.
