They refuse to accept my payment from my checking account that they have previously. They took an unauthorized payment that had to be reversed. They told me for 5 days it was my bank had a block and after multiple trips to my bank and them telling me they had no block and 5 day later tell me they are the ones who actually have a block. Insist I pay with a debit card or money gram. They refuse to fix their system that caused the issue in the first place. I have tried multiple times now to make my payment and they are refusing it. It won't be made until they fix their system and accept it.Business Response

Reprise Financial set me up, groomed me and lied to me - getting ALL my financial, credit and personal data by telling me that I was being approved for a loan at 20% when they knew that was not true. They get all your information under the guise that you are going to be approved for one thing while the approval is for something else entirely. Predatory loan for 35% which I am already paying with a loan I have with them. I feel like they did the same thing previously; that's why I have a current loan with them with a 35% interest rate, which I just found out about. I would have NEVER agreed to pay 35%! Yes, I signed the papers for my current loan; however, signing the papers was just closing the application process that we had discussed. NEVER DISCUSSED 35%! WHO DOES THAT! Now I realize that the reason the current loan amount was for $9,540, when it was supposed to be for $9,000. When the credit bureau asked if I had applied for a loan in the amount of $9,540, I answered, "No." Now I know why that amount was higher. I CANCELLED the application. They are going to send me a letter claiming I was denied. STOP them do not allow them to ding my credit for their predatory practices. IT IS A SCAM! IT IS FRAUD!Business Response

We took out a loan with Reprise Financial with first payment due on 08/04/2024 of $276.35.Reprise financial took out two payments totalling $522.70. Reprise financial needs to refund $276.35 before my mortgage payment comes out or I'm going to turn this over to our attorney and Reprise will be responsible for any overdrafts *************** fees.I also demand Reprise take my account off autodraft. I received a letter from reprise financial saying my loan was denied. However I never applied for a loan threw them. When I tried contacting them it's a recording asking for my social security number.Business Response

I called reprise financial twice on august 6 2024 and revoked my authorization for auto pay . The first time they said they would not stop auto pay on my account . So i asked for a supervisor , i was then put on hold for 20 minutes no one ever answered . I called back and they said the same thing . They refuse to remove my auto pay on my account . I am up to day with payments through the website and would like to continue to make them through the website .Business Response

On 7/9/24, a loan contact was reached with Reprise Financial. Per the agreement, lender was to release funds as promised, obtain the title on their own (page 11) and grant the terms of the loan.As of 7/31/24, funds have yet to be received; ****** is stating they need the title from me when they promised to obtain it or I would not have proceeded with the loan or credit pull.They are stating my contract has now expired, threatening to close this loan entirely on 8/9, have called me with their auto dialer an excess of 20+ times, have not followed through with verbal, written, or signed agreement.Business Response

Reprise financial sent an email saying that I was pre-approved for a secured loan. I filled out the application info and received and email saying I was approved and several offers were put before me. 2 or 3 options were *vehicle equity* loans I was not interested in. The offer I chose was $18, 500 secured loan which had a term and rate attached. Upon selecting this option I was directed to another screen that said I was approved for a secure loan of up to $20k and that I had to call them. Upon calling it was clear that all the info they had on my credit was OLD and that they had no intention of giving me a loan unless I had a vehicle with enough equity. This is in direct conflict with the options they provided upon approval. They refused to use the equity in my ******* collateral. The short version; They are taking part in deceptive marketing practices in order to acquire personal information to sell and waste people's time. False advertisementBusiness Response
