    Your representative was kind, very thorough with his explanations with the wheelchair. He even worked with me while I maneuvered it through my home. The wheelchair is exactly how I wanted, the only thing missing is a cup holder. ?? I thank you for you service in this matter. I will recommend you to anyone looking for a wheelchair.

    Horrible company I received my power chair from them they sent a guy here who was new to their company back in April 2024 for repairs he broke the chair and I have been immobile since then and ****** from the service department jeeps telling me that the parts are on back order. I feel like he doesnt even care that its been since April and now its July

While we generally keep parts in stock to avoid service delays, the equipment you have is rare due to the power chair's weight capacity, so we do not carry those parts in stock, which causes delays. However, we are committed to doing everything within our power to assist you. Please rest assured that we are actively working to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

    I would give it 0 stars if I could. This company is horrible. They might be OK when they're selling you product, but when it comes to the product not being right or being defective, they are just awful. It's taken over 6 months of contacting their repair departments and buying equipment that I just found out, we didn't even need. I had to hire an independent repair person. Close to my house who took my husband's electric wheelchair. Fixed it in 1 day and brought it back. It's now like a new chair. And he had stated that whoever worked on it before didn't know what they were doing and made things worse. Well, who worked on it before was the universal med supply technician in *******************. This new company told me exactly what was wrong and what the other technician had done wrong and they completely overhauled. The universal med supply technician had been out 3 times try to fix the chair. The last time he said he couldn't figure it out and needed to do some research and would call us back for another appointment. That was 2 months ago, and we've never heard from him again. And now my husband who is an amputee has his *****************. They could have cared less that this man was stuck in a house and couldn't have any independence and go anywhere for all this time when it was their fault and their technician that ruined the chair. Then they wanna argue with me that it's our fault. And we did something, and we're not telling what's really wrong with the chair. It was such a simple fix that it's amazing that their technician didn't know what it was. Chair works like new now, and my husband has his *****************. And his spirits are so up there now, and he is so happy. If you can find another company to help you with your medical device needs, please use them do not use universal med supply. Your sales experience might be great and getting ******** and insurance to pay for it is good. But God forbid something's wrong with what you get from them.

    I want to reach out to express our sincere apology for any inconvenience experienced with the wheelchair and the service provided by our team. We deeply value your trust and satisfaction, and it is disheartening to hear about the challenges faced. We would like to explain the brief steps we have taken to work with you prior to your expression of dissatisfaction with the BBB.On 09/13/2022, a complex rehab wheelchair was provided to the customer with proper training on how to operate and maintain a wheelchair and on 11/07/2022, the customer's wife reported mobility issues. Service #1 resolved a misunderstanding about the chair being in manual mode by dispatching technician for re-education. Service #2 addressed concerns about rapid battery depletion and worn caster wheels due to improper charging and not taking care of the wheelchair. Out-of-pocket expenses were incurred for replacement parts as they were not covered under warranty due to the manner in which the chair was being used.Despite these efforts, the customer's wife continued to express dissatisfaction, specifically regarding the wheelchair's speed. A technician was sent with a programmer to increase the speed to 100% (allowed limit by manufacturer), but the customer still found it insufficient.We would have done everything within our power to address the customer's concerns and provide a solution that met their needs and preferences. We understand that the customer has chosen to move forward with a different repair company in **********. While we respect their decision, we want to reiterate that we are here to assist and support in any way possible. If at any point the customer feels the need to revisit this matter or if there are aspects of his wheelchair that require attention, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We remain committed to their well-being and satisfaction.

    I have been attempting since March 2023 to get someone to write a detailed letter to me explaining why Universal Med thinks I owe them money. I am being put on indefinite hold multiple times and no one responds. My equipment was supposed to have been totally paid for by my private insurance in March 2023 yet this company continues to send me bills. I have left messages on machines stating I would return the equipment just let me know how. No response. I also had my private insurance let them know this. I just spoke to an employee and he put me on hold to get a supervisor and again, no supervisor available. I was harrassed by no less than 20 phone calls to myself and my husband this last spring to buy the disposable items used with the **** machine. Not no but h*** no will I have any more business dealings with Universal Med. I was fooled once but shame on me if I am fooled again. Please have them explain in detail why I am getting a bill for 37 and67 dollars from them and if they are going to bill me anymore

    Great company to work with! UniversalMed Suppy has been very helpful throughout the whole ordering process. They worked with my doctor's ****** on getting all the paperwork required and kept me in the loop as well. I never felt lost through the ordering process with UniversalMed Supply, unlike other companies. Even the technicians were really helpful and answered all of questions with patience. I am pleased to have chosen UniversalMed Supply as my provider. Keep up the good work guys. You guys rock!
