I had a child Nov 2020 and received an epidural. All other care for this event has been in network for my insurance except for through Northstar Anesthesia. I see that my insurance went back and forth with this company and finally settled on a payment a few months ago. I did not receive any bill from Northstar but yesterday received a letter in the mail saying my account from them has been sold to a debt collector, ***** Partners and I now owe them $166.20. I have no issue paying the amount owed and will do so immediately. I do have issue with this being on my credit, especially when the whole process was dragged out because Northstar didn't send my insurance company the required info and then did not even send me a bill for the amount owed. I do not deserve to have a credit hit for something I had no control over.Business response

Several weeks ago I noticed during a check-in on my Credit Karma that there was a new Derogatory mark on my report. It was for Northstar Anesthesia of Penn. This has never showed on my account prior and said it was opened in June 2021. I have not had any medical procedures done since having my Daughter in 2013 and at that time I was covered my insurance. I'm very confused as to who I owe $250 dollars to and never having received a bill! HELP!Business response
