  They are a total scam. We sent a unit and all required paperwork for a 2-week expedited turn-around on the repair of a ***. It took longer than expected to get the *** back, but we were just happy to finally ************** back to **************** and installed on the truck. Turns out, the unit was not programmed properly so we sent it back to Hi-Tech. They charged us $95 for sending it back and an additional $1500 for reprograming (which they should have done when we first sent it to them as part of the initial repair). Anyway, we had to pay it just to get the part back and the truck running. Turns out they STILL did not fix the issue. I spent hours on the phone, often getting hung up on and eventually blocked to resolve the issues we had. Ultimately, we sent it back to them again with instructions and all the details they requested from **************** who was completing final repairs on the truck. They did not understand anything they needed to do in order to get the unit working. They continued to argue that the unit was working when they sent it to us. Then I found out from a technician THEY NEVER HAD THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO EVEN TEST THE *** BEFORE SENDING IT BACK. I spent hours of my time on the phone with technicians at Hi-Tech as well as customer service. No one could help. No one knew what they were doing. Often, they would put me on hold for long periods of time and then disconnect me. At one point, they blocked my number. They tried to charge us additional fees and never actually covered anything under warranty as promised. There was always a loophole for them. In the meantime, we finally got a new *** delivered and installed on the truck so the driver could actually get back on the road and make some money. We never got the *** repaired or any issues resolved from Hi-Tech. They scammed us out of over $3k. They are also refusing to give us the *** back until we pay ANOTHER $95 fee. This process also lasted from February-June.

  I do not recommend that you buy or have your cpc fixed with these scammers! I am going to talk about my bad experience with them, I am one of many people who have been scammed. In January 2022 I sent them my cpc for repair, I paid $1,518 including rush reapair, they supposedly sent me my repaired cpc! with a note where it gave me instructions before installing the cpc! In order not to lose the warranty, well, take the truck to the freightliner dealer where they did all the previous repairs before installing the cpc, including the programming. They charged me $4,034.00, the truck worked well but on the way the truck's check engine came on and I decided to return it to the dealer and they gave me the diagnosis where it says that the truck has a damaged cpc! I returned the cpc to Hi-TECH with a list of the repairs that the dealer had done on the truck before installing the cpc so that they would respond with the guarantee for the end they say that my cpc is dead that the dealer had damaged it ! They were not responsible, they charged me extra money for the cpc test fee "$95.00 + $30.00 shipping to return it. The payment method they have leaves a lot to think about! I would like all the people who have been scammed to unite to sue this business and thus put these thieves out of business and somehow get our money back. They stole from me my cpc and my money! I paid test fee but they never send me back my cpc! Warning warning BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!!! I hope you check all reviews before you do business with them!!!!!!!!
