What a horrible experience. After bringing in my vehicle for a simple oil change and tire rotation, I noticed that a cap for the wheel lug nuts was missing. After bringing it to their immediate attention, they said they would get back with me. Never once did they reach out to me. After I called many times and left voice messages, they never responded to me. After driving back to talk about it, they pushed me off again saying that they would get back with me. Finally after over a week, I got a hold of the service manager. Although I have security video evidence that the cover was on my vehicle, the manager only chooses to believe the word of a tech with no evidence from their security cameras to back that up. They were unwilling to replace something as simple as a wheel cover when I have video proof.

On 9/14/2023 I took my Chevy Silverado there under warranty for idle pully. They replaced it/corrected what was the issue. On 10/12/2023 I took my truck to *** **** for oil change and my engine light came on. They charged me $178.96 to reconnect a crankcase ventilation fresh air tube. It was explained to me that this is not covered under original manufacturer warranty as it is something that doesn't come disconnected on my own. Looking into the issue, it was determined that Westside Chevy should refund my costs as it was their work that wasn't complete that caused the issue. Tube wasn't connected properly and it came undone with time. 10/10/2023 Westside Chevrolet management in person refused to pay for the issue. I later that day called and left a manager Doug ********, who never returned my call and voicemail. 10/10/203 I filed a case Chevy corporate. They said that Westside Chevrolet should refund my costs, that they will file a complaint against the Westside Chevrolet as well. That's the best that they can do.

I have waited almost five weeks for a repair at Westside KIA-- windshield wipers are inoperative. Because of this, my state registration expired, so now an illegal to drive my car. I could be ticketed and charged a fine. I have tried to talk to a manager but am unable. They do not return my calls, they do not tell the truth. They do not care about my situation.

I went to view a new 2023 Traverse on 06/10/2023 at around 2:30 PM with my wife, as we have a growing family and need something bigger. The first odd thing that struck me, was the sales guy said we could test drive the vehicle without taking my info or license, which I thought was weird but just drove around the parking lot. We initially just came in to look at the car before making any decisions, and we advised the sales guy that we were still making a decision and made our way back to our truck. That’s when I realized I didn’t have my phone, as I was trying out the wireless charging option in the car and had left it there. When I went back to the sales guy to ask him to open the Traverse I test drove, which he had moved once we were done viewing the vehicle, to my surprise the phone was gone. My wife started to call the phone, and it had been turned off so we started to get concerned because the phone was on when we tested out the wireless charging port. When I confronted the sales guy he started to pull away from me and call his buddy on his phone and was walking away from the Traverse, when my wife looked under the seat and there was my phone, turned off and hidden. When I asked the sales guy if he had tried to steal my phone he then started to cuss me out saying that I was “********” about pricing etc. This was extremely unprofessional, and it was clear this guy had attempted to steal from customers who were about to spend a lot of money on a new car. We will definitely go down the road from now on… if you do buy from here please be aware of where your personal belongings are at all times when you test drive at West Side Chevrolet Katy. The sales guy was a man named Horacio.

Kia broke down my engine and put it back together without replacing the gaskets/seals. Now they want to charge me to fix what they did wrong. My car is spilling out oil from under the hood and oil is now all over the place under the hood where it smokes if I drive it and comes through the vents, making it very uncomfortable to breath. Oil is now all in my driveway and my garage. Kia won't take responsibility. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO KIA, THEY ARE FRAUDS AND DON'T HAVE ETHICAL MECHANICS THAT KNOW BEST PRACTICES!! I bought my car brand new from Kia in 2018 and am still under the LImited Power Train Warranty- which covers gaskets and seals. Attachments show Best Practices and the Warranty!

I came on 3/14 because my car jerks often and also has trouble starting up as well. It was recommended that I replace the crank position sensor and map sensor to solve the issues so I did what was recommended. To my surprise the issue continued to persist after paying almost 1k in repairs. So I brought it back in to see why the issue was still occurring and was told that I needed spark plugs and a coil replaced which would be almost 800. I'm trying to understand why those issues weren't picked up the first time that I came if my car isn't presenting any new issues. At this point, I feel like there is some dishonesty going on or the repairs weren't completed correctly the first time. The car continues to jerk and have trouble starting up and it never got better even after the initial "repair". Either way, I need the issue to be resolved because 1k in repairs with the issue not actually being fixed is unacceptable. Also, after leaving the first time my tire pressure sensor didn't work and I ended up getting two flat tires because I wasn't aware of the leak coming from nails in the tire. I never had issues with the sensors before and it has prevented me from getting flats in the past. The crew also left the tablet and reader in my car the last time that I came so it seems that they are kind of negligent and furthers my concern about them actually performing the work. I reached out to the service manager and he did absolutely nothing.

If I could leave one star I would. The unjust and disrespectful service this dealership condones is appalling. I am sure that it isn’t just Westside Kia that has this lack of customer service. DO NOT GO PURCHASE OR SERVICE YOUR CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP THEY WILL DENY ANY CLAIMS YOU BRING AGAINST THEM AND LEAVE YOU STRANDED. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND HEADACHE AND CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY OF THE WESTSIDE BUSINESSES!!!!
