Mobile Grooming Company: Third time to use Lilo's, asked if we could start using same person as they always send someone different and I want puppy and groomer to establish a bond. They sent Keily. After her having my puppy for a period, I get a distressing phone call from the office that the "groomer was being robbed." My heart drops to the pit of my stomach thinking about Keily's terror and the safety of my puppy (she is a Havanese which have a tendency to be snatched up). I grabbed my pistol and went to confront the situation, keeping my weapon concealed. Fortunately both Keily and my puppy were safe, however, Keily was hysterical. She would not allow me to call the police. She said "they" took the money and threw her phone out. I enlisted the help of my Apartment Manager as Keily spoke very little English. Keily left after a bit. I called a local business who happened to have a camera perfectly aimed where Lilo's was parked. Turns out Keily was lying. She threw her own phone out of the van and I suspect robbed her employer. The police were involved and review one hours worth of video footage that shows only me approaching her van after Lilo's called me. I requested a refund, including my generous tip, due to the absolute distress this situation caused. They have yet to resolve this after my multiple attempts to speak with someone (this happened on 1/23/25). No effort for even an apology for the trauma caused by their employee. As a result of this situation, I will never use a mobile groomer again. My concern for a "real" robbery happening is pretty high now as well as the idea of a groomer claiming robbery while having someone take my puppy. Brick and mortar from here on out with well established businesses only.
