    This water company sends your refund for you deposit back to the address you just moved out of instead of calling or emailing for a forwarding address. As such my deposit of $208 is unimportant to them, giving excuse after excuse as to why a new check cannot be mailed out. Going as far as to tell me I needed to wait for a quarterly meeting to get a new check (this was in march another 3 months ago)To put it in perspective, I have contacted them 8 separate times since May *************************************** their service area, 2 times to update the address I need the check sent to which they keep giving as the reason oh the check was sent to the other address you gave us No it wasnt, I have access to both addresses. I doubt I will ever see my money again thanks to a mysterious book keeper who never seems to answer their emails calls etc. I am *** up with this company thinking its okay to put someone out like this. I paid all my bills through you guys, I settled up in the end as well SEND ME MY DEPOSIT. If you cannot ensure each account gets their rightful deposit back then dont take deposits for your accounts.

    Please know that your refund was in fact issued at the June 2023 district meeting and mailed to the address that was shown on file, ************************ because your water account was closed due to the property management company calling to start services. This automatically closed your account in May 2023 and at that time, no forwarding mailing was known or provided.  When you contacted Municipal District Services in June 2023 regarding your refund, the refund had already been processed. 

     

    June 6, 2023 MDS was provided the mailing address of *****************************************

    January 16, 2024 Records show you were advised to complete the request online

     

    January 23, 2024 MDS was provided the mailing address of *****************************************************;  

      *** style="margin-left: 0in;">The update was sent to the department that handles *******************

     

    January 24, 2024 The agent who handles all refund requests sent an email to the districts bookkeeper.

     

    May 31, 2024 MDS receives your email below regarding the missing refund.

      *** style="margin-left: 0in;">Another email request was sent to the district **********************

     

    Be advised that your request was explained and escalated.  The bookkeeper apologized and informed MDS that during that time, they had a personnel switch which caused some tasks to fall behind or through the radar.  Please know they have your request and your refund will be processed at the ****** meeting.

    Please allow at least three weeks after ****** 21, 2024, depending on **** as we are not responsible for the mail service.

     

    Also, since Municipal District Services, LLC is acting on behalf of our client; we would request the complaint be assigned to Greenwood Utility District.
