This clinic did not follow procedure in place prior to sedation on my dog and it killed him. They didn’t wait for the bloodwork results prior to sedation. They did not have authorization to put him under full anesthesia. I brought you MAX my pet , my family member to get sutures on a small cut that was open. We were being a responsible dog owner and brought it to you for professional medical help. Why didn’t you tell us about any risks involving putting him under anesthesia knowing his age. Why didn’t you send us home on March 19th when we came in for the first time on this matter with instructions pre-surgery for that night ? You didn’t tell us anything on how to prepare him for surgery. He ate his regular meal that morning since you didn’t tell us anything. He was a very healthy dog , he weighed at 107 pounds. He had gotten a cut on his rear inner leg and we brought him to you to get sutures to prevent it from getting infected. Over one insignificant wound it cost him his life and my soul. Your office had given us a pill called Acepromazine 25mg and to give to him 30 minutes before going to the vet. I wonder if you just over medicated him and he just went into a deep sleep. You never explained or mentioned any risks of this surgery. Max was 8 years old at 107 pounds very healthy, Did you do a blood test , prior to surgery? You never mentioned to us anything about any results. If you would have told us of any risks involving him passing away, I would have never allowed you to proceed. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else over a cut that would have healed on his own How and who was monitoring his breathing and heartbeat while you were working on him. Why didn’t you give us anything to sign prior to the surgery? Why did you put him under full anesthesia without my consent? He ate his regular meal that morning? Could it be possible he aspirated on his food ? Does all this looks sloppy thus proving negligence that lead to his demise?
