    AdventHealth Health is charging me for two (2) ***** Lab Test ***e in year 2020. I went to take the test they swab your nose and told me to download an app and see results at home. It came back negative. I had all symptoms so I went back 2 days after and came back positivewas prescribe vitamin C, D and Zinc. As every one else. The charge is for using the emergency room:1. That was the place were they were conducting test there was no other option.2. At the time of service they told me to only present my insurance card which at the time was *********************** and White Insurance.3. My husband has the same insurance and was not charge a *****. Also *********************** and ***** through his employer his name is ***************************** and DOB 08-02-1976. My two (2) friends also got tested and tested positive got the same treatment as me and I was the only one charged, and charged twice. Also, when the state started giving the ***** shot which was free of charge AdventHealth tried to bill be for the shot calling it an administrative fee was this fee assessed to everyone? I *** think so. At the time of the testing it was one of the only testing centers in the area. I was NOT informed of the HUMONGOUS fees assessed for the lab test and my insurance covered part of it I believe and they still want to charge me. My question is, did everyone get charged as they are trying to charge? This situation has brought so much sadness due to its unfair nature and I will never go back to AdventHealth nor recommend it. I am asking AdventhHealth and AssetsCare LLC to STOP harassing me because they know in all fairness I am right. Let me know if you need day by day event details and both of my friend names and address so they can be looked up (I already provided my husbands information.

    Thank you for sending this grievance to AdventHealth Central Texas. I will contact the patient today to start the grievance process. Per CMS Standards, we are required to review the patient's chart and contact patient within 30 days of receiving the grievance. It is also mandated that we send a letter within 7 days of receiving the grievance. This letter will be sent, once I speak with patient. I will let patient know this when I speak with her. I will keep you updated and will let you know the final response to this patient. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
