I was selected for a casting call with Lone Star Pin-Up. I was very excited because I have followed their work for years and have loved it. On the day of, I arrived and was placed in the bathroom with a selection of clothes to try and was told to pick my 2 faves.I respectfully inquired if it were possible to have something in black but was told it is a casting call so I don't really get to choose. I understood and went along with it.I went for hair and makeup and was turned away from the mirror the entire time. I did a before video and picture because I was so excited to see my transformation and then share on social media. When the time came for the big reveal I said: well. I look like a drag queen. The stylist told me: No ********************* are much more dramatic than this.I looked again & said actually I'm a little like a ************ mentioned she went too light & she rubbed some powder over my face to try & fix it.I never requested to have it changed because I was told (when inquiring about the clothes) that it was a casting call and I get what I get. I went into a private dressing room and fought back tears. I sent pictures to my ****************** & they agreed that I looked awful.I decided to make the most of this situation and played along. As soon as the pictures were done, I wiped all the makeup off and fixed my hair. I told both **** and the other lady that I absolutely hated my makeup. They never said anything about it, that I could've changed it, etc I bought pictures based on a promise that the retouching would be good. It wasn't. I requested a refund because I never received the product & was told no. I have pictures of my texts but cannot add them here.
