    Pattern of Complaint:

    Since March of 2019 to date, the BBB Houston began receiving several complaints that are exhibiting the following pattern;

    Consumers allege they are unable to contact the company as there are no phone numbers on the website. When they send a inquiry through the website, they go unanswered.  Complaints and customer reviews also state, poor/rude customer service.  When customers ask to speak to a manager, they are not empowered to address their issues.

    In a September 2022 review, a consumer was upset when an employee told the consumer he could return a product but when the consumer wanted to, he was told, “all sales are final”.  When he asked to speak to a manager, the manager told him the sale thing.

    In a complaint filed in November 2022, a customer was double charged for an item. He tried reaching out to the company multiple times but hasn’t received a response.  The company failed to respond to the BBB.

    A review received March 14, 2023, a consumer purchased $17 worth of items but was charged $82.69. She is having trouble reaching a manager or anyone at the corporate location for the refund.

    In 2023, the BBB received multiple complaints regarding a store policy that states a consumer can only return 2 items per receipt.  Consumer's state that policy is not written  on the receipt nor is it on the company's website.

    Currently, the company will not respond to complaints or customer reviews forwarded to them by the BBB.

      We just left the store in Georgia #51 and made a purchase of $76.02. We got some snacks and three sandwiches They were miss labeled pulled pork and we got beef brisket . It was entirely fatty and not eatable. We tried to called the store but it routes you to the website and the website routes you to directions and not a working number or a way to complain or at least ask for a credit if not a refund please .

      On May 17th, i went into store #51 in Georgia and made multiple purchases. One of my purchases was a pound of brisket for some $30 on my card ending in 9828. The brisket was almost entirely fat and completely inedible. I ended up needing to throw the entire thing out. I tried to call the store to tell them this but their phone redirects to their website. I tried to contact them through their website multiple times but it never sends a confirmation email and nobody ever responds.

      I stopped into the Denton, Tx Buc-ee's to fillup the rental car before returning this to enterprise and flying back to North Carolina. I receipt I was given printed at the pump but it was given to purchasing but they rejected it because it was hard to read. I tried calling the store but was directed to the website, then I sent the information but was told to return to the store in an email. This is not possible unless they are going to pay for my flight. This not the response I was looking for and would like someone to contact me to resolve this issue. Just looking to get a copy of the transaction that was charged to my card ending in 4658 on Wednesday 5-17-2023 around 10:40am This needs to be emailed or Faxed to me here in North Carolina.

      First, let me start by saying that I have been a customer since Buccee’s opened in Madisonville due to our travel to and from the Houston stock show. My daughter was accepted to Texas A&M, which meant more stops at Buccee’s in Ennis and Madisonville. On May 15, 2023 I was traveling to see my daughter in College Station stopped and bought a cup at the Ennis location. Opened the cup once I arrived in College Station only to realize it was broken, never removed all of the original packaging . Kept my receipt and took it back May 19, 2023 on my way back home to be told by the female black manager that she would not exchange my cup because she wasn’t sure that I didn’t damage it . I hope your five dollar lid is worth losing a customer because you’ve just lost one.

      On Friday 5/5/23 I purchased 2 brisket sandwiches and a packet of cubed watermelon for my wife at the Leeds, Alabama Buc-Ee’s location. The sandwiches were hard, poor quality, and the watermelon was stale. We got food poisoning from eating their food and we were sick for 36 hours vomiting and having severe stomach pain. The total for this was $34.06 and we want our money back! We will never return to buccees.

      My order totaled $17 plus change. I was charged $82.69. I purchased a fairlife chocolate protein shake, an iced coffee, a celery/carrot cup, a bag of buccees white cheddar popcorn, a package of pickled pea snaps, and a monster energy drink. That was it. I was waited on by an African American lady and was there at approximately 1045am on 03/01/2023. Somehow I was charge $65.00 that I did not spend. This is fraud. I am having difficulty reaching a manager or corporate to rectify this situation. I have provided them Date, time, list of items I bought, and the last four digits of the card number. I would think that they could look up the receipt that would show what was charged to my card that I did not authorize. There must be camera footage of my transaction. The lady processing my order did not put my receipt in the bag.

      On February 21st, 2023 I was heading back to Tennessee from Florida. I stopped in Georgia at a chain location of Buc-ees (Fort Valley) to get gas. First I stepped inside to buy some items. 5 items to be exact. A bottle of Voss Water, A bottle of coffee, an iced coffee from the coffee station, a bag of jerky from the wall of jerky and a pack of cigarettes. Totalling less than $30. I never usually ask for a receipt at a quick stopped location but this experience has made me think otherwise. I went to my car and bought gas totalling $28.42. After driving several hours back home, I get an email stating that my bank is now negative. It turned out that I was charged $143.63 from inside the store. I've tried to contact Buc-ees in many ways but have not heard anything from the company. I just want my money back. I do not have a receipt unfortunately, but the company does know my transaction, because on their websites they ask for my last for digits of my debit card numbers.

      On Jan. 24th one of my employees got diesel fuel for our work truck while on a delivery. The fuel was bad (had water in it), and completely ruined the entire fuel system in our truck. I have tried to contact their headquarters on multiple occasions to see what kind of resolve we can get, but you can't talk to anyone when you call. It directs you to their website, and when you submit your complaint on their website, nothing happens. I'm sure we weren't the only one's to get bad diesel fuel that day, and most likely the fuel service provider is fully aware of the situation. Just need someone to reach out so we can get the ball rolling.
