            My family and I made a reservation from 11/22/21 to 11/26/21 because we couldn't find availability in the national chain hotels. The The place was filthy, didn't have an iron and the microwave didn't work. I told the front desk and they simply said people steal the irons and dont take care of things. We spent the night killing cockroaches and as soon as we found one available room at another hotel we checked out early the next morning, on 11/23/21. Because we had made a reservation until 11/26/21, they charged us the whole amount. When I asked the desk person what about refunding the days I was not going to stay, he said he didn't know how to do that and to call another number and talk to ***** I called that number but nobody answered. I called back the front desk after several attempts trying to get said **** and spoke with the same man at the front desk and he said he would call **** for me. I ended up calling the credit card company since Amerik Suites haven't moved a finger to refund me my money for days that I didn't stay with them. How they pass inspections and stay in business is beyond belief, considering the awful service and as filthy as they are.
