Bought a home from them in 2019. The a/c and heater have never kept up. Have called about it multiple times. They give us the runaround every single time. Had a very reputable HVAC company check out our system. Oak creek homes had a 3 ton unit installed in a 2100 square foot home. The HVAC company said we needed at least a 5 ton for the size of home we have.

Think twice before you give them your money. I was told if I changed my mind, I could get my earnest deposit back. I gave my deposit on March 22nd and on March 25th I requested to cancel my application because I decided to do something different. I requested a refund at that time. Today is April 5th and I've been told multiple times the money has been refunded and I just need to wait. Their refund process is not explained very well at all and once you change your mind, they don't really have any contact with you. I've sent countless text messages to Christian, one of the managers with no response. The other manager, Monty, responds to messages and seems to be an honest enough guy but I still have no refund. Whether it's the company or the manager is not even an issue at this point. They have my earnest deposit and are not getting it deposited back into my account. I have had to file a dispute with my bank in order to get my money back.

Save yourself a headache! Once they get your money you’re on your own! They do not care about their product! Seriously don’t know how these people sleep at night knowing they screw people over! I have hundreds of emails from day one regarding issues! Still to this day 4 years later still fighting them! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Do not buy a home from these people! Our home is the mini mansion as they call it. It’s 18 x 52‘ long and is not one of the smallest tiny homes even though that’s what it’s called. less than three years old and it’s falling apart. The subfloor is coming apart at the seams and beginning to squeak and causing the floor tiles to pop up. Every joint in the subfloor can be seen through the floor covering. The foundation has settled substantially. The dishwasher has gone out. The texture is cracking and coming loose in numerous places and almost every joint in the sheet rock can be seen because the texture was so poorly finished.. the damage is not just cosmetic. It is structural because nails are popping out through the texture as well as joints. The front deck porch was installed using nails and that began coming up within the first year so I had to screw it down myself with deck screws to stop it from squeaking and coming up. at first we just thought there were some cosmetic things that were poorly finished and did report this to Oak Creek very soon after taking possession of the home and someone came out but they did nothing about it even though the guys that came out shook their head and said this is a terrible finish. The company did nothing. as mentioned above, it’s moved from cosmetics into structural issues which is going to require remodeling to correct.

We purchased our mobile home in August 2023, still not moved into. So many issues. Wish we had researched before buying from this company. I am waiting on a response from them about finishing the repairs. Very worried about the future of this home. After reading the reviews, I am even more concerned. The one crew they sent out to do repairs, said I would just have to live with the problems. The last crew has been doing a good job, but never came back to complete. Be forewarned about this company. Even their repair man said they build a good home but are lax about the cosmetics. Don't do it, don't buy from them.... Marilyn

We bought a home from Oak Creek Homes in Tyler Texas . We have lived in this home for 7 years . The roof is damaged, the walls are falling out , my back window is rotting and has black mold on it and my how back side of my house will have to be replaced . My floors are falling in not due to any water leaks . I have a huge whole in the corner of my living room. I have soft spots all through my house on the floor most of my cabinets doors have falling off . My garden tub is coming away from the wall in my bathroom . This is us safe for us to live in and we can get no where with Oak Creek. My Front door was never put in the wall right it has a big gap at top. They don’t need to be selling home if some one can help us

They cover up bad reviews. Lacey lied to me about taking money off the full price. Told me there was a sale and that I would get 500 off for a good review and that they would take 2500 off to price match a similar home. Then after I signed the paperwork she made it over the asking price. Then said it was always that price and that I was mistaken when my dad was there and heard the same thing. It was supposed to be 80k it turned into 130k. Just gaslighting me the entire time. Lying to my face with a smile on her face. Before getting a mobile home here, and when I say mobile home I mean it. There are no “modular homes” Check out this link for the video. https:**********************************************************************************************************************
