Handyman connection is not reliable company for any household work.I did work with them for the shelving work for my custom closet and they screwed it extremely badly.. not worth the stress and follow ******* there was a contract made with beginning date and completion date of 4 days.The owner **************** suggested to use Plywood as it is durable.Based on the effort for the custom closet, the ********* - ******************************* (*********) did provide an estimate of start and end to complete the project in 4 days.**the handyman connection mentioned to me that the ********* is top of their line of carpenters they have and he is the best in class and quoted that this entire work would be completed in 4 days and a contract was made for the same.The agreed work by the ********* was to install the whole shelf with industry finish, paint, accessories and lighting all within the 4 days period.The drama began here - There was a trailer parked in front of the house and the ********* did the cutting job. Installing the base frame was done in 4 days.He took almost 2-3 weeks to figure out on how to make closet drawers.Issue 2: the sanding was not at all done.,Issue 3: the dimension between each closet was completely abnormal or was varying by rack. Issue 5: the paint for cabinet should be a Urethane Enamel to avoid sticking but a wall paint was used instead. the entire project which was ambitiously planned for 4 days took close to 4 weeks and partially completed or half baked where the 14 cabinet drawers were not installed as per design I had to repeatedly follow up with ****** and get the contract cancelled as the work was not completed even for a month and no hope for the future based on the quality observed and felt that the ********* was learning how to make and fix cabinet on the job with no result.Wasted 6K of my money and again had to find another vendor who demolished and re-did the entire job. Would not recommend for closet work.
