Door to door salesman came to sell me a product, was told that if I moved from my house the equipment could move with me for a $100.00 fee. After I bought the product I referred them to my parents and they were told the same exact thing. Upon trying to relocate the equipment I was now presented with a $1,500.00 reinstallation fee and a $200.00 uninstall fee despite the selling point for me being that the equipment would move with me for $100.00. Now I am stuck with a water system I cannot even utilize due to the lie presented to me when trying to sell the product.

Customer is making false claims and below is our conversation and agreement:

    1. **Initial Sale and Moving Agreement**: In December 2023, **************** purchased our equipment. At the time of sale, she claims she was informed that relocating the equipment to a new location would be free of charge. This was never an agreement, nor is it stated on the work order/contract that the customer signed. In the work order it also states that nothing outside of this contract was promised to me. Upon later learning there would be a fee, she mentioned that her sales representative had quoted no more than $100 for the move. However, the sales rep denied making such a statement. **************** then suggested that perhaps one of the installers had provided this information.

    2. **Relocation Cost and Agreement**: We clarified to **************** that a $100 charge would not be feasible as it wouldnt even cover parts let alone labor. After some discussion, she agreed to the relocation/installation fee of $1700, on the condition that the amount could be added to her existing loan. Upon calling her finance company to find out what her available balance was, she found she could add a little over $1000 to her current loan and agreed to pay the remainder out of pocket.

    3. **Installation Date and Scheduling Conflict**: **************** requested a specific installation date of May 31st due to her need to move the unit to her parents' house, as she planned to rent out her current home. Unfortunately, our schedule was fully booked through June 6th. We assured her that we would contact her on May 30th in case of any rescheduling that might allow for a May 31st installation.

    4. **Customer's Response**: On May 30th, we contacted **************** to provide an update and let her know that we would be able to install on the 31st. During this call, she became very volatile and disrespectful towards our representative, again upset because shes being charged $1700, after already agreeing to the price and having us disconnect the unit from her home. Frustrated, she decided she no longer wanted the unit installed and requested that we come to pick it up. We informed her that this was not possible as she owns the unit. Following this, **************** began threatening to stop payments to the finance company on her equipment.

We have done everything on our end to try and help the customer get her unit moved as agreed upon. We are no longer willing to help customer due to the way she conducted herself to our team, as it is not our obligation.

I am rejecting this response because: not only is this a FALSE response and claim from the business but they went and pitched the sale to my parents and they were told the exact same thing that the equipment moves with you upon moving and the fee is $100.00 how did they pitch the exact same sale to two separate households. They are scamming people and lying to get the product sold then going back on their word.

I have had this water softner since we bought the house in 2020. We have called numerous times trying to get this serviced and no one ever responds to calls ever. I just want them to come and service their equipment since I am paying for it.
