Received my Electric bill and yes I know things are more expensive now. I think this is price gouging or a real violation. When is a meter charge more than your electric actual usage charge. My 70. **** get a 94. Dollar meter charge? How is this possible. They are only charge according to your usage. Which I suppose to be under the actual electric charges? Is this a violation? I was told be the electric company 2 years ago it charges according to your bill.

This is horrible, that in this day and age we can pick our electric company but can not choose our electric provider. After hurricane ***** we have been without light for for almost three days now. While living in a smart living community and others have electricity. It is very upsetting, because I work from home. I

I would select zero start if it was available. TNMP has been my provider for several years. We are a small commercial business. TNMP charges something called TDU (Transmission and ******** Utilities). These are the charges to install and maintain lines and equipment. Our TDU charges are more than the cost of our actual electricity. Why? Because of this thing they call "demand" for electricity. If you turn on the lights and the draw from the system spikes, they have to have that electricity available for that spike. If your spike registers more than normal, they can charge the highest allowable rate for a period of up to ONE YEAR, even if the spike never occurs again during that year. If we spike on January 1 and don't spike again until December 31 of the same, they can (and have) pop us for another full year. Once you are in the highest rate category, they never let you out. This is a complete scam. I had our attorney look at suing them. No way. What they do is technically legal and it would cost a fortune.

Have paid my bill every month. They installed smart meters that apparently were not working correctly and were being estimated. Not they have them working and have REBILLED me for the past three months and I owe a total of nearly $800. This is an error on their part as I have always paid my bill. I think they should have to eat this. This is horrible business practice. If I could choose another service I definitely would. Huge disappointment in TNMP and True Power! If you can keep from using these two I definitely would.

I received a July, 2022 bill from Pulse Power my electricity provider company for 5,668 KWH, $985,61. This is about 3 times my actual usage due to TNMP changing out my meter and "estimating" the usage for the 11 days prior to the changeout. The Pulse Power company has explained the issue to TNMP and we have waited for a response for over a week. Knowing that my 1,650 sq. ft. house uses more than my average amount of electricity in July, I made a good-faith payment of $350 and am awaiting word from Pulse Power regarding TNMP's correction of the usage reported. I, like others who have reported TNMP actions, am a very responsible consumer and are concerned that nothing is forthcoming to correct this problem. I don't want my electricity cut off or bad credit reporting as a result of irresponsible actions.
