      We hired DORK Production to video my daughters Wedding a year ago this month . We still have not received the video . We have called , sent messages monthly requesting the video . We have been given excuse after excuse of why we have not received the video. Now they have quit responding to our calls and messages .

      Dork Productions was hired to photograph and video for a Quinceanera/Sweet 16 event which was held on August 5th of 2023. The price of the package was $1500 which was to record and photograph the event for the whole day. The contract amount was paid in full via 2 transactions (no receipt was giving for the 2nd transaction but see supporting documents for proof). We are now 13 months since the event and 7 months passed the promised date to receive all media contracted. With no response or communication up to January 2024 I made the first attempt to reach out to them to insure that our package was being worked on. Their response was with photos would be done at the end of the month. No media or photos were received by the end of January as stated by ***** of Dork Productions so we made a second attempt in March. At this time we were promised photos by the end of the week but we did not receive them. At this time we were notified they had made an error and once again were told by the end of the week we would receive the photos. March 14th we did receive the photos of 258 but no video media. The third attempt was made in May of 2024 requesting the remaining video media. At this point we expressed our disappointment and felt they were taking advantage of us since we are temporarily overseas(my husband is a military contractor). ***** of Dork Productions response was that they estimated poorly and are getting close and would reach out to us. August 5th, 2024 is our fourth attempt, at this point we requested a partial refund as it seems nothing has been done. Once again ***** of Dork Production response was we are about to start it. Up to the date of this submission we have yet to receive the remainder of our contracted package and would like to report and request help from the BBB. ***** of Dork Productions has been reached at ************** email- ************************************

      Hello ******,

      I appreciate your concerns more than you know.  I have given you dates that I thought were working with our schedule.  But, as I expressed, our schedule does not always go as planned.  Last year we were booked more than we were prepared for and got extremely behind.  The times that I told you we would be working on the photos and video were estimates.  I honestly thought that we would be able to start working on it.  That is our fault completely and I apologize.  I now have a better completion date for everyone and we will move you ahead of them to complete yours.  Thank you for sending the music.  Please know that we spend about 2 weeks editing the videos because we want it to be the best for you all.  Also, please understand, that editing video is a creative process and like any artist, you need to be in a creative mode to make the best of the best, which I am sure that is what you want.  Some days, ****** is in a very creative mood and he works diligently to get our projects done. I know you will love the video when it comes.  We are thinking of you and all of our clients.  We know and understand your frustration.  We appreciate your patience.  Please reach out to me if you need to.

      I am rejecting this response because: I feel like this is a generic reply. From online reviews we know that we are not the only people this has happened to. There is no reason for them to take a year even with poor estimation. This kind of behavior usually gives businesses a bad name.

      This is not a generic reply.  We have never had so many projects in our business history.  We had no way of estimating properly how long it would take.  It is completely our fault for not estimating right.  However, we have moved everything aside to work on your project.  It is being worked on now.

      I am rejecting this response because: We are still waiting to receive what we paid for. Dork productions has stated through text that there was some technical difficulties but we will keep this going until then.

      More Information...I did receive an edited video from Dork Productions on Friday October 11th. We were then asked if we were happy with the finished product. We let them know that a couple glitches were noticed and asked if they did not mind making a couple other changes for us. Dork Productions did inform us that they would take a look on the glitching and work on the changes. I did send them a recording that would be worked into the video as well. Now we are just waiting for Dork Productions to do the finishing touches.
