On 06/22/2023 vehicle was dropped off to Caliber auto for a check engine light and was told "transmission feels like it is slipping, inspected wiring and found transmission solenoid pack connector had burnt exposed wiring, transmission pan removal will be required to inspect internal wiring." The transmission pan was never removed to check anything due to the mechanic stating it was the external valve body pigtail that was the issue. Caliber ordered the part and it arrived 06/29/2023 and I received my vehicle back the same day with no issues work order #******. On 07/03/2023 vehicle had exact same engine code shown and vehicle would not accelerate. 07/05/2023 towed vehicle back to the caliber shop. 07/06/2023 caliber technician was able to take a look and was told vehicle had an internal transmission failure due to "excessive amount of metal debris throughout transmission pan." and "transmission will need to be rebuilt". I denied any service after that and have towed my vehicle to my home.
