I am a REALTOR and scheduled a repair of a staircase in an empty listing at ****************************************************On August 4, 2023 Mr. ********************** sent a tech to make the repair, sent me an invoice and billed my credit card. The next day I checked the work and the job was incomplete, the railing was just as loose. I called the company and told them the job was not completed. They said they would send him back out again in a week, but assured me the job was completed. I asked them to send another repair person out because the 1st tech did not do the job. On August 8, 2023 they sent another tech which they called "more experienced". The response back to me was the ********* was not installed property to begin with saying the railing should not be curved around the landing post that both ends should be securted to it. The only way to secure would be to replace the entire *********. After they have sent me a bill for the completed job, they now are telling me it is not fixable. I have called them 3 days in a row to get a credit for the LABOR and materials they charged me on the 1st attempt to repair. 2 days in a row they said "whoever" was suppose to talk to me was in a meeting. Today when I spoke to them, it again was not a manager and she tried to explain their billing to me. I understand their billing, but do not agree with paying for a job and materials that was not completed. Their "more experienced tech" confirmed in his opinion, it was not fixable.
