Monday, January 13, I dropped off the car with the service advisor, *****. I asked him approximately how long they would have the car to which he said it would be all day Tuesday and potentially Wednesday and that the technician would perform updates to the system to resolve the lane management system errors, as well as, inspect the center screen for its periodic unresponsiveness. I informed him I would not be able to leave the vehicle over Wednesday, but Tuesday would be fine. He said he understood and that a technician will begin working on it Tuesday morning. I then asked for him to reach out to me if he did have to keep the vehicle for Wednesday as I wanted these issues resolved, but would need a heads-up to rearrange plans and coordinate transportation. Again, he agreed with the request and I left the vehicle with him. Tuesday, January 14, I had yet to receive any communication from *****, or anyone at all by noon. I contacted the service center for an update and was told ***** was unavailable. Understanding it was likely lunch time, I called back a few hours later. Once I did make contact with *****, at approximately 3pm, I asked for a an estimate on what time the vehicle will be ready and was told that it may or may not be ready by the end of the day Tuesday, but definitely sometime Wednesday. I cut the phone call short as I was having difficulty hearing what was being said. Tuesday evening, approximately 5:30pm, I went to the service center at Dodge McKinney to clarify what ***** had told me earlier in the day. He told me the technician may work on it Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. He also stated that the vehicle hadnt been looked at all day and that the technician will look at it first thing Wednesday morning. Upon hearing that my vehicle hadnt been looked at after being at the service center for more than 24 hours, I asked ***** to bring my vehicle to the front and that I will be taking it to a different service center.Initial Complaint

My jeep wrangler has a LIFETIME CERTIFIED PRE OWNED MAXIMUM CARE warranty, that is bumper to bumper and covers all mechanical issues related to the engine. I have to get it serviced at a certified AAA mechanics shop, which I've tried in the past with no success of it being covered under warranty, or alternatively at an official Jeep Dealership for the warranty to actually be covered. As this was my first time taking my vehicle into this particular jeep dealership, I was expecting better customer relations. I dropped off my vehicle July 1st 2024, and they verified the authenticity of my warranty and said it would take a week or two to take a look under the hood. This was acceptable given their busy schedule on a ******** week. After about 3 weeks, they stated they had not yet looked at the vehicle but were about to start the engine tear down process. They called me today Monday August 26th, over a month of not hearing from anyone in the service department, stating they are still waiting to hear back from warranty claims before they can touch the vehicle. I feel like they are being dishonest and not wanting to help repair my vehicle. I have attempted to contact them via phone multiple times, including leaving messages, and they refuse to call me back.Customer Answer

The dealership finally got my jeep back to me. It was another 3 weeks after my initial complaint with BBB before any signs of progress had been made. My jeep is actually performing as well as it did before the issues started happening, so Im at least pleased with their mechanics work. Upon receiving my jeep back, The vehicle was not washed, the engine coolant reservoir was empty, i had sticky residue on my doors, and both my license plates were bent for some reason. I did complain to the service advisor about all this, and but I will not be going back for any further service.Initial Complaint

Worst Chrysler Dealer for service. Totally worthless. They don't even have basic respect for the customer. Took the ********************** Pacifica vehicle on 11/12 for a recall notice to be taken care and they did not so anything to fix it, but pretended that they did but the issue is still not resolved. Now after I found out and complained they state it will take another 5-7 days to identify and fix the issue which is totally unacceptable. And the service manager basically yelled at me to get out of the dealership. If this is the way the employees treat customers then I wonder why they are in business? Totally incompetent service employee and his manager. Unless they start training their employee on behavior and basic customer service, no one would ever visit this dealership for service.Initial Complaint

I went to this dealership (CJDR of McKinney) in order to get my car serviced and was told that my car would need a new engine. The engine ended up taking over 3 months (March 21, 2022 through June 30, 2022) to get and install. I have no current issues with the repair as far as this complaint goes but include for fully clarity. During this time I spoke with what appears to be their parent company (FCA) via the phone number (844) 378-0575 in order to get a rental reimbursement claim in place. I was told that I was approved for up to $45/day. After getting my car back a total of 102 (one-hundred and two) days later, I submitted the rental reimbursement claim through their FCA Customer Care line (same as above phone number). The claim was for the total of $4590 as this is $45/day for those 102 days. The case number given to me was XXXXXXXX. I provided all of the requested information and followed all of the guidelines they set forth but was denied my claim on August 17th with no explanation. I have spent the last 3 months calling roughly every week and trying to get an explanation of why my claim was denied and was told today that supervisors had given the people I had talked to a "Hands off" order and to stop speaking to me and not to reply to any of my calls or messages. I was able to get someone else on the phone and was told that effectively my claim is denied and no rationale had to be given. Every time I called FCA care, I was informed that the calls were recorded but they would not send me those recordings. They informed me they would not inquire any further into the case and promptly hung up with me. I am complaining to the better business bureau in the hopes of resolving this issue promptly as I feel I am out of other options short of direct legal action.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/18) */ Mr. *******'s issues and compliant are with Stellantis Corporate not with Dodge City of McKinney. We (The Dealership) are not in control of rental reimbursements, this is something that is handled directly with Stellantis (FCA). We have no control over case issues or decisions. Mr. ******* would need to file against Stellantis directly. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/11/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Thank you for providing a response. I had searched for FCA in the BBB data base but was unable to find it and that is why I chose the dealership. Thank you for providing the proper name "Stellantis" which does appear. I am creating a new complaint against them.
