took our 2002 toyota sienna after a problem with the battery not charging while ac is on highest setting after having the battery and alternator replaced a few times with no luck in the problem stopping. beginning july 2021 took vehicle to toyota was called next day and was told it was the alternator i explained we have already replaced it a few times and the battery 2 times - was told it was the alternator. they called to tell me it was fixed and sent a driver to pick me up july 17th 2021. once on way they called to say if i wanted to pick it up today i would need to pay for it over the phone as the cashiers were leaving for the day i explained i would like to verify its actually fixed first. Picked up vehicle came home as i pulled into driveway battery light came on took it back said its not fixed 2 more times after this and still has not been fixed after telling me they will not be charging me becayse they havent fixed it yet, not state i will be charged going forward even thoughBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/09/13) */ Mr. ********* works for Christian Brothers Automotive and di bring his 2002 Sienna in for repair after his business, Firestone and another company worked on it. We did replace the aftermarket alternator with a factory Toyota one and a battery as well. He paid about $650 for those repairs, however there are some electrical issues with the van and we spent about 10 hours trying to repair it and couldn't. We explained it may take a lot more time, but he wasn't willing to spend the money it may take to try and fix it. He sent 5 complaints to Toyota and we showed them all the things we had done. We do not know if this is rodent damage that chewed on wires somewhere of a faulty computer in the vehicle. Electrical issues are had to chase down without starting to replace possible things to figure them out and he wasn't willing to pay for any of these options. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/09/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) the information provided here is incorrect i do not work for any automotive company and not sure why that would even matter if i did. After seeing this i reached out to the dealership to address this they agreed to refund the money i have spent and will no longer be willing to work on my vehicle -
