I hired this company to complete a roof repair along with several other jobs including painting of the home, replacement of gutters and window repair/replacement. They started and completed the roof repair in 1 month, shortly after the claim was turned in to my insurance company. The rest of the work, however, took several months and no information was given to me in regards to what was being done or what the owner was asking for from my insurance carrier. I kept receiving checks from the insurance company with no real explanation on what they were for. I stopped hearing from the owner from October through January. No work was done for over 9 months at this point. I kept reaching out to the owner to see where we were on the window repair and I kept getting excuses that he couldn't get a hold of my insurance carrier even though he had no problem contacting them in the past. We agreed that I would pay the owner for the work that was done and there would be no more communication after that. I sent the check overnight to the business address on June 7th with a request to get the delivery signed. The owner has not deposited the check as of June 16th. This is troubling considering the owner was harassing me via text message to get this check sent to him as soon as possible. He even threatened putting a lien on my home if he did not receive the check soon. Harassing me to the point I had to block him on my phone. I sent an email asking him to deposit the check, on June 13th. No response has been received and the check is still not deposited.
