I have been getting texts about being able to buy a car with 0 down, and no credit check. When I went to the dealership the manager looked at me like I was stupid and said of course they need to run my credit. 2 days later I see an ad for the same dealership on ******** and it says the same as the Text, I want them to own up to lying, or sell me a car the way they said they would to get me in the door. This is false advertising.Business response

Mr. Chavers
My name is ******************* I am the General Manager at Mike Terry Ford here in ***** .In response to your complaint ,as a dealership with various marketing strategies we do advertise no money down campaigns and have a disclaimer that states "Bank approval required on all credit applications". That being said I am sorry we were not able to sell you a vehicle on the 17th of this month. Fact of the matter is this, we really don't need to pull your credit profile but need to send it to the lenders for final approval. The only reason a dealerships runs credit is to determine which banks to send the application to based on the consumers credit profile. I would be more than happy to have a second chance to earn your business and you can deal with me directly if you like please let me know how I can help !!

I am rejecting this response because:
You need to clearly state that in your marketing material. You are false advertising to get people in the door and that is unethical and immoral. Those ads have no disclaimer attatched that anyone can see. I would like this fixed so people can see it and not get scammed.
Regards,
