I have been a customer with ********* for 25 years at this location. I have even been employed by ******************************* department. On October 2022 I purchased a Doona car seat stroller because it was excellent for traveling( price $600.00). In addition, I have purchased an extra pink color to change out the black on my Doona stroller. I have also purchased items such as the backpack, and pack to attach to the stroller. On April 8th, 2023 my grand-child is getting to big for her stroller so I went into ********* where I was approached by an associate who showed me all the car seats along with a brochure of an **** car seat for my fixing to be a 2-year old grand- child who is **** pounds. She told me that the car seat was on special and that I had to purchase it online. I asked her how much it was and she invited me to meet her at the register in the children's department. She then asked me to go to the Nuna website and she showed me what it would look like. I purchased the car seat and was pleased with the price of $ ******. It arrived on April 15, 2023. April 15, my grandchild began to fall asleep in this seat. She was too small for the seat. The belt almost choked her. I pulled the car over and realized that this is not the seat for her. I went back to Dillards and learned that I could not return the seat because they have a no-open box policy. They do not have this information written anywhere. It was not on my receipt, nor did the sales associate inform me of this. After the run around of calling the store manager, ****, and a regional manager I was told a **** rep will call me and help me solve my problem. In the mean time I am stuck with an ***** car seat from Nuna, and ********* is asking that I sell it online on social media site if I want my money back. I only wanted to exchange it for the correct seat and Dillards refused.
