On 5/30/2023 our company paid Greene Day $10,000 to finish a demo construction job. However, ************************* failed to complete the job, gave us the run around as well as excuses, and then she stopped communicating with us. She agreed to give us back the $10,000 via text messages due to the job not being completed. That was several months ago, and we still have not received our money back. During December of 2023 we were able to get in touch with the owner Torrey Day, and he informed us that he was aware of the project and that he would come up with a solution to pay us back. However, we can no longer get ahold of the owner, our calls go unreturned.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract on 6-30-2023 to repair my fence. At this time I also gave them $1000 down payment. The man I dealt with was ***********************. July 17th I received a text message that they would start at 6 pm that evening, I agreed. Because we were experiencing extremely high temperatures, they were working only early mornings and evenings to avoid the high heat of the day. I was assured they would be starting soon. Then when I complained about how long it was taking I was informed that they were just too busy and they would be issuing a refund of my down payment, this was on August 19th. I still waiting for the refund. I have all my text messages with ******************. I have tried several times to contact Torrey Day to no avail.Business response

This customer place bad review from ****** page that has cause business over ********* over future revenue since her post. We have held here refund because of this action

I am rejecting this response because:
The only reason I filed the complaint with the *** was because I did not receive my refund as promised. I have several text messages stating I would receive my refund which I never did receive. I informed the company that if I did not receive my refund by October 30th that I would be filing a complaint with the *** , which I did.

My husband and I hired this company to till and seed our front yard. The work was supported to be completed by 10/18/2023. All they have done so far is come out and water our yard. They were supposed to be back this morning between 8:30 and 9:00 we still have not seen them it is now 11:09.Initial Complaint

I paid Torrey (Greene Day Landscaping) over $13,000 to install turf in my back yard. He said it would be finished in 2-3 weeks. That was in January of this year. He took my money, damaged my fence, concrete patio and a tree. He has not fixed any of the damages and will not return my call.Initial Complaint

Contract date: March 20, 2022. Total Bid: $4296.44. Deposit of $3100 paid in cash on March 30, 2022. Work to be done: turf installation and transfer of pink lady rock. As of 6/16/22, white rock has been put down. I have text records of communication with him. Ill attach them to this complaint. Ive asked for $2000 back. No work has occurred since at least May 12th. Thats when I began contacting him on a more consistent basis. The white rock has been there so long that grass has grown up through it. Hes also left some equipment that needs to be removed. I threw away the cooler with rotten food that was left.
