    On June 13, 2023, we bought an expensive refrigerator from Lowes in Mt Pleasant, **.& it was delivered the following Friday by a contact delivery company from ******, hired by *****. During this delivery, the flooring in the kitchen was deeply scraped, scratched, & irreparably damaged by the way the refrigerator was dragged & pushed across it. This floor plus all flooring connected to it, which is extensive with our open concept floor plan & connects to the floors in each adjoining room or area. It must be replaced as it cannot be matched. The grandfather clock was physically picked up by the delivery man in charge, jerked around & slammed onto the floor beside where it was located, knocking off the pendulum & one weight, which knocked a hole in the floor of the clock. It has been repaired which we paid for at the time. The clock repair person was the only person we could find who would come to our house & was only available the day he came - from over 2 hours away - so we felt forced to go ahead & pay or wait around with a broken clock for an additional God knows how long. We have been in touch with at least 12 - 15 people with ***** or Werners, the insurance company for the delivery company for Lowes. All weve gotten so far is empty promises or outright lies. Both *************** have been passing the buck since the first contact, blaming everyone else for the problem, accepting no responsibility at all. Finally about a week or so again, they finally said our claim had been approved & wed be getting a check in 5 days. It didnt happen. We called again & were asssured again that we could expect a check within 5 days. It didnt happen. Still hasnt. Our case is in the process of being paid. Process has equaled NO progress, no resolution, no satisfaction.

    This complaint came to the Mount Pleasant / Titus County Chamber of Commerce. We are a non-profit organization. We do not work for ****** have never worked for them. We do not do refrigerators or have anything to do with this complaint. This complaint sent to us has nothing to do with ** and must have been sent in mistake. Please resolve this issue. Thanks.
