    After a very poor experience I filled out a request for records and gave it to the front office lady named ****. As I left I witnessed her throw it away. I will be filing a report with the appropriate agency in addition to this bbb complaint. They had 30 days and it has been well over 30 days.

    On 4/18/2023 it is showing per the pdf file attached that my issuance didnt pay for something. I do not know what. I have 3 different dental insurances and if one did not pay for something the others would if I had known. I went in for a cleaning. It was my first time ever at this dental office. A cleaning is all I had done. I had MetLife, BCBS of *****, and Humana TriCare. I was never given notice that something was not paid by my insurance. I then received a notice that my account went to collections. I asked the person at *************************** what this was for and she stated they never received a breakdown on the $450 North Richland Hills Dentistry says I owe. They reached out and never got a response. They suggested I reach out to the dentist to get a break down. I did so and was laughed at by the **** the front office manager and then hung up on. Today I received the attached pdf of what they are saying I owe. I should never have a collection charge as it should have never gone to collections. This place has scammed me and many others.

    On May 26, 2023, I received a debt collection notice on behalf of North Richland Hills Dentistry via a debt collections agency for the amount of $327. I am disputing all of this debt.Between approximately June - August 2022, I visited North Richland Hills Dentistry numerous times for a crown and root canal, as well as complications and pain resulting from each. Both resulted in continued pain, and I later had to have an endodontist correct what she described as a "poor job" performed by North Richland Hills Dentistry.Nevertheless, all costs associated with these visits and services were paid at the time of the visit or shortly after insurance claims were processed. At the time of my last visit, I emphasized that I did not want any further appointments (in fact, I moved out of state a few weeks later). To my knowledge, none were scheduled, and I emphasized to the front office if any were scheduled they should be cancelled.If North Richland Hills Dentistry believes these charges to be valid, they must provide proof of each charge and service and date rendered. I believe any such charges to be incorrect or duplicative. If they are charging me for any missed appointments, these charges are fraudulent as I explicitly stated at the time of my last appointment that I did not want any future appointments. These charges should be removed.

    Filing a grievance/reimbursement claim vs. my previous dental provider for practicing active insurance fraud + lying about insurance coverage with no refunds provided. I'm owed over $3,000+ based on my current research and EOB-to-receipt comparisons. In fact, ****************** payment of $1,218.40 for my implants was collected after the procedure and after the patient was required to pay full payment upfront. I paid $2,000 on the day of my implant surgery because I was told that my dental insurance didnt cover my implants due to the missing tooth clause. This was a lie youll see this insurance payment logged; however, I have never received reimbursement. The office purposefully submitted the wrong codes and higher insurance rates than what is pre-allocated according to their policy with MetLife. They are under contract and in-network, thus strict pre-set fees. I walked into the office trying to increase the second portion of my procedure by $2,500+ than I originally signed/agreed to. These fees are also not within the preset ranges considering the abutments wouldve been covered since the implants were granted coverage (no insurance claim has been sent to verify this). When I talked with MetLife ins agents we discovered multiple inaccuracies like the above, but this doctors office also submits out-of-network doctors as the practicing physician at higher fees in order to get the claim denied and write off the money. Please reference my EOB for this activity. They also violated HIPPA by providing me with another patients info in my take-home packet. The doctors office in question is ran by Dr. ***** Desai, DDS /aka, North Richlands Hills Dentistry (NRHD). Their office manager, ****, assaulted me by trying to rip their recent receipt out of my hands because I wouldnt sign off on $2,500+ more out-of-pocket costs without notice or true explanation or insurance check. Please reference the 4/11 incident report for further details on where this claim came from
