On September 25th I dropped my car of for a free esti. I spoke to them again on the 28th where the made a claim that the battery was dead (I'd just been inside of it day I dropped it off with a month of sitting and the battery was fine). He tried to get me to consent over the phone by repeated and annoying questioning to up to $10,000 in repairs including for a locked engine, engine swap and, broken rear thingy. All I consented to was the free estimate that I was told that they had. They had not ever ran any computer codes at his time and claim they had jus stayed looking at it no more than 48 hours after it having been dropped off.I did not hear from them for a prolonged period of time and when I reached out they told me the work was complete. I got the document from them and it was over $1,500. Including a charge for an engine check of $135, that said possible locked engine and needs a starter check The starter check was no given a price, so apparently free. But hey charged $350 to remove all the spark plugs and see if the engine was locked There was no reason to believe that it was, and the problem I indicated match that of a starter going out while a person was driving. It turned out to be the starter. They had some contact in my document at this point named ****** and were claiming they could not reach me on the estimate for three days and so performed work without a contract or approval. Then they refused to actually tell me who ****** was/is. And have since deleted the information to hide it?They refused then since about October 29th or so to even provide me with explanation of what happened exactly what works they performed or the day on which they began/finished said work.Well also even refusing to provide me with the back of the document which is the entire contract so that I can even consider signing it for payment. They will not provide information on parts so that I can make use of the warranty knowing what day it begins applying

      Complaint: 18458739

I am rejecting this response because:

      1. They manage to lie about everything they can. Those were not prices that were claimed to me at all. And in fact, are much lower.
      2. They submitted only the front of an unsibed invoice. The back of that document says that is the ONLY agreement they have and anything else MUST be in writting signed by both parties. So verbal contract would be invalid
      3. I was the one who dropped it off and apparently they don't know what day it was dropped off even... So they manage quite a bit of lying right here for no reason at all...
      4. Stopping at a stop sign and driving through a normal sized puddle on a pretty well maintained road, on a sunny day, the day AFTER it rained... Isn't enough to even imply the amount of water damage this isiot is now trying to claim that he was quoting me on.
Messed up and is trying to back track hoping that I lose the audio recordong by the time of the trail I guess ??
      5. Dude is wrecking my life ad lwaving me without anything. It's a threat to my actual life, he should understand such threats can be met with equal force under self defense and if I have nothing to lose f*** a lying thief that ***** at his job
      6. Can't explain the first charge: check no start that does not include battery, starter, spark plugs or frozen engine and no computer code having been read.
Best result for him is causing huge damages because he won't explain a charge meaning fraud by concealment? And thinking a jury will side with him after presenting a completely conflicting story about all sorts of parts of these events? Yeah I don't think so.
Best that happens I get my full damages and mental anguish and they pay him back **** out of that.
      7. Really..."as cheap as possible" let me see the inoivenfor the starter and battery terminal to see where you got it from
      8. Regusesnto give me my warranty information I need for the parts I would own.

Dude is actually doing nothing but, boiling it down to an attempted claim of some supposed verbal ckntract that lacks yhe clarity to qualify as a contract to begin with.
"Fix it as cheap as possible" given to someone under a free estimate time frame is still not actually saying you can fix it, it would imply that the person said they needed to have it fixed as possible and to estimate for that level of repairs.

And, the person as made clear that they knew they NEEDED to reach me otherwise they would not have called and waited. If I had contracted anything at all they would likely have begun that work without question or hesitation.

Sorry but, it's shallow excuses that don't fit history or any data I have from my own GPS, other things that have been said, unclear information given to me, or even a display of actual basic contract law.

If they have and hold my vehicle and set all the other terms except me being able to limit it to "as cheap as possible" and, a yes or no. Then all questions of word choices, errors or interpretation actually default to me.

Given that they failed to actually say why that "fix it as cheap as possible" is even in reaoonse to... They aren't even managing to imply now that it had a contractual meaning to begin fixing since context would be everything

Qnd can now no longer bring that point ** in question at all.
While having committed both fraud and q defamation of my character by saying I was lying but not being man enough to say it directly while asserting a STUPID story any jury member with someone to show them the slightest critical thinking of it will tear apart on numerous torts and legal theories...

They can return my car in the next response with full payment of damages or I kitigatenadbthats the ************ available to them. They can not and will not win with these types of responses on record. Can't just change the story now

On Thursday 11/12/2021, I took my 2007 **** F150 to Triple T Auto Repair for an oil leak repair. I was in the process of moving back to *******, ***** with a deadline arrival date in ******* by November 23, 2021, due to a death in the family resulting in legal matters that needed to be taken care of. I discussed with the owner where I perceived the leak was coming from. My vehicle was returned to me on Saturday morning 11/14/2021. By Monday 11/16/2021 I noticed the leak had continued since I had a pan below the area of the leak to verify that the leak was repaired after my truck was initially returned to me on 11/14/2021. I took my truck back to Triple T; additional work was done to locate and stop the leak. In total, I made 3 trips back to Triple T after the initial work was done to no avail. Refund in the amount of $1,812.48 My last trip was on 11/17/2021 and I was assured that the leak was repaired. I had numerous heated unprofessional conversations with the owner during this back-and-forth. I am now permanently living in ******* and the oil leak has continued. I have not reached out to the owner anymore since our communications during my 3 trips to the shop were less than professional. I need to send receipts via email since my secretary in Odessa is handling this correspondence for me. Please provide an email address once this is assigned to a specific individual. Thank you

This is the response to your letter about *****************************. I have

Sent all repairs that we have done on this vehicle in this email. You can

See that the last time he was here there was no mention about a oil leak.

****************** never contacted us about this issue nor has he ever returned to my shop about this issue. I reached out to ******************

And tried to ask him about this and he was acting incoherent and cursing so there was no talking to him. I have had no issue with ****************** before so I have reason why he is saying this about my shop.

If you have any questions about these invoices please call me.

I am rejecting this response because: As indicated in the initial complaint I was moving to ******* when I brought my truck in for a repair. I have been living in ******* since 11/21. Therefore I could not bring my vehicle back. My initial reason for bringing my truck in was to repair an oil leak before my move. I admit our conversations after returning 3 times for a repair were less than cordial but who expects to have a repair done only to find the oil leak has not been resolved.
