  I used Progressive Moving Company in December for my move, and a TV was broken during the transit. I was promised I was going to be reimbursed for this TV by ***** ****** via *****, but now my texts/calls are being ignored.

  The movers stood us up. At 9:30am the day of our scheduled move, I received a text from ***** saying they would no longer be available to move us. We worked countless hours packing in preparation for their arrival in our order for my 80-yr-old mom to transition smoothly into her senior living apt. Despite scheduling 2 wks ahead & confirming verbally & thru text, we were stranded with no help & a deadline to have her things moved out. In disbelief we phoned *****, who did not even offer an apology; in fact he argued & said, Look, thats the situation. Do you want to reschedule or what? This left my *********** no choice but to move everything ourselves 10 hrs of loading & unloading a Uhaul we had to rent at the last min something we'd gladly do again rather than give ****************************** Moving one dime on a different day. Unprofessional & unreliable, ***** did a complete turnaround from our first contact when he confirmed 2 men & a truck ****am Sun July 1 at $110/hour; just pay upon completion, he said; no deposit needed (I offered). On the Saturday before the scheduled move, I texted to confirm ETA. He replied ****am Sun. My *********** still had a lot to pack so I asked ***** what our options were if we weren't done by then. He said to let him know by 5pm Sat & that if we needed to reschedule he'd also have a crew on July 4. I thanked him & replied we should be done as planned & that wed confirm again by 5. Which we did. We texted & called at 4 & re-confirmed all was good to go. Later that ***, we even texted again because we had a couple questions. All was set. Come Sun morning, we arrived early to await movers but no one showed. It was until 9:30am that we received *****'s text: We are no longer available to move you today When we called in disbelief, ***** was completely unconcerned about the situation he had left us in. We are filing this complaint & can provide copies of ************ messages. For my elderly mom, this was very distressing.

  Due to a mechanical breakdown the move started 4 hours late. The guys called and told me the were swapping out equipment. ***** kept me informed! The move was completed flawlessly with *********** Two middle aged men busted their butts to make up for being late. Awesome attitude, extremely hard workers. I've used Progressive 3 times over several years. Referred them to my kids both in Prosper and *******. Excellent!

  The first time I used progressive was in 3/21/22. I was looking for someone to move me from ****** ***** To ****** after my son threw me out and told me to find my own way back to ****** The reason I wanted ****** is because that's where I intended to live I couldn't find anyone reasonable to move me. Then I got contacted by Mr ***** he sent 2 guys and his only 25ft truck I ask the driver if I could follow them because I didn't know my way out. It was raining so bad but made it safe to ******. Got to the storage where my things were going till I found a place to live. They did a good job except for they piled my things so high that I couldn't get nothing. They charged me a lot. I finally found a place but unfortunately it was in ***** city and again I contacted Mr ***** because I had no one else. He gave me a quote and booked the move and I asked him are they the same 2 guys he said yes when I get to the storage I notice it was not the same 2 guys. The driver said he had picked up the other guy at *********** They were not as fast as the first 2 guys I guess because this time i was getting charged by the hour. The little guy seem to work harder then the driver he was always on his headphones and at times he sat on one of my chairs In the truck was on headphones and vaping. They left me a mess In the apt. told them to put all the extra things in the other bedroom but they just piled everything on top of each till is so full and I told them I won't be able to get to them or pick them because I have back problems I'm 74 yrs they couldn't connect the washer/Dryer because they had no tools. So they said will come tomorrow 9/20 and finish assembling everything. It was time to pay and wanted me to go Zelle to his numbers but it wasn't going through had to go to bank to get cash then I sign the invoice n notice they overcharged me there was no amount then I was missing items n to this day I don't have then n to find Mr ***** not his boss n don't work for progressive.

  I had a wonderful experience with this company. The communication was excellent and everyone was very professional. Other companies were charging thousands of dollars more for our move from Central ***** to the gulf Coast. I would definitely recommend Progressive.

  Do not use this company. They were engaged by my elderly parents to move them from Houston to Dallas. They were paying for packing and moving.2 guys showed up, minimal boxes, complaining the whole time. They just put stuff in the truck unpacked, clothing, lamps, linens, bedding, pillows, etc. Boxes weren't marked. The lead mover was very rude and distressed my parents. It was an awful experience.

  This is the second move with progressive moving. The first move was flawless.The issues is when something goes wrong the company is not reputable. Progressive assured us we would have 2 to 3 movers with furniture pads and shrink wrap. During the unloading process we noticed the leather sofa,recliner,freezer and adjustable base was coming off with no pads and was severely damaged. The driver said he didn't have enough furniture pads.I called progressive as the product was coming off and was assured it would be handed over to the adjuster and gave us a email to send pictures to.I called the next day and was told I would receive a call in the afternoon. The next day I spoke with the same person and he acted like it was the first he heard of it. Once I reminded him we have pictures and correspondence.He changed his tune. He said can you straighten the product out. I told him you can't straighten leather out and it's a $5k set. He immediately when in defensive mode challenging how much he should pay. We never asked for money and wanted the product fixed. This wasn't an accident. This was neglect on loading the product. This complaint isn't about money. We'll pay to have it replaced. The intent of this review is to alert potential clients it's all good until they damage the product. My regret is not reading the reviews below before we trusted the agent. His name is on 90% of the reviews
