We had our floors installed by Chads team, pro select flooring, back 2021. The floors, as stated in our contract which I have, are covered under warranty for 5 years. Parts of our flooring have been coming apart since the install and reached out to the company a few months later to come fix the issues. We ended up having to reschedule because of medical issues. I have since been trying for MONTHS now to contact ****. I initially got ahold of him, but as soon as he discovered who I was - he completely ghosted us and has been unresponsive through phone calls, texts and emails. *** also left texts, voicemails and emails, which I have records of. The owner will not reply nor rectify our flooring issues, and is now in direct violation of our contract. Pro select flooring has already been PAID IN FULL for their services and I expect them to honor the legal contract signed by both parties. This company is completely unprofessional and scam artists when it comes to honoring the contract.Business response

Having used Pro Select Flooring several times over the past five years, I trusted Chad to install my new floors in a timely manner when he quoted me a price of $6,500 if I could pay in full up front. In spite of my better judgement, I agreed to his offer but kept thinking that it would be okay since I had had such positive experiences with Chad and his company in the past. I paid him in full on 1/27/23 but did not hear back from Chad about an install date until I reached out to him on 2/8/23, at which time he gave me 3/6/23 as the first available. That 3/6 date then proceeded to slip the right multiple times. First to 3/13, then to 3/16 (which I couldn't accommodate), then to 3/23, then to 3/24, and then finally to 3/27. Since paying Chad I have had to contact him every time to find out if/when his guys were coming. He has not been very responsive to my text messages and he will not return my calls. At this point I just want a refund because I do not trust that he is ever going to come out to install the floors. When I mentioned a refund previously he said he could refund my money less a restocking fee. I would like to make a couple of comments about this statement. First, the contract I signed did not mention anything about a restocking fee and, second, Chad told me the color of floor I picked was one of his most popular choices so he should not have any problem selling it, therefore, I am requesting a full refund of $6,500.Business response

I am rejecting this response because Chad has made multiple promises of installation dates before. He responded to my request this morning, in which I asked him to confirm tomorrow’s installation start date, by telling me he is unable to come Wednesday m, 4/19, now but is planning for Friday, 4/21 (see attachment). This is the 8th installation date Chad has given me so this complaint needs to remain open until I receive my flooring or a refund.Customer response

The Seller did not show up Wednesday, 4/19, as stated in his response on 4/13. He told me via text message that he would be here Friday, 4/21, but he has not responded to follow up text messages nor has he showed up.
