I have been in my Esperanza home now for a little over 18 months and have experienced a few defects in construction such as walls cracking, nail pops and cabinet drawers refusing to remain closed . But now I’m experiencing a roof leak. During a recent rain water was pouring through the master bedroom ceiling from around a recessed light. After entering the attic above the bedroom I discovered water leaking through the attic insulation onto the bedroom ceiling. When Esperanza was called they stated it wasn’t their responsibility as the home was out of its one year warranty and that the 10 year structural warranty did not cover the roof. I contacted my homeowner insurance company and they sent an inspector out to examine the roof and he found that roof sheathing was on top of the roof shingles and this was the cause of the leak as the shingles were supposed to be over the sheathing. Also he found exposed roofing nails in other parts of the roof that will need attention before their exposure creates another leak. The inspector told me that there had been many problems from other owners of Esperanza homes and they were known for shoddy workmanship. Now it appears that I will be responsible for repairing/replacing a portion of the roof to correct the shoddy roof install. As a result of this I highly give Esperanza homes a very low grade and plan to make this known to anyone I know considering purchasing a home from Esperanza Homes.

Very bad experience with esperanza homes. Got pre-approved for a new home build. During the 10th month of the process I was notified that I was not going to qualify for the home. Esperanza did not contact me after till a month later saying that I was going to be qualified after all. By this time I had moved my credit around knowing I was not going to qualify. Esperanza Homes does not want to return my 5k deposit towards the home saying it's my fault for moving my credit when they had told me I was not going to qualify before they came back a month later and said I was due to firing one of there builders so home was gona take longer to build. Over all very bad experience, they seen to act like friends at first and are quick to show the opposite. There perfered lender ********* has very unprofessional workers, at least the person I got. Becareful because when it comes to stealing your down payments they will.Only because I have to select a star but honestly this company is a 0 out of 5 stars. Review your options with home builders. During the home building, alot of mistakes were seen on the. Building its self. Always beer cans around the properties as if workers drink on the job.

Do not buy a house from this company. They find every excuse to not finish the house. The completion date for my house was supposed to be two months ago. They blamed AEP for the delay but other houses that weren't completed got power installed months before my house was done. Whenever you try and get a hold of your sales team to do the final walkthrough they wont answer. And when you go to the sales office no one is there from your sales team. And they say we will have the contact you and not a word.

Superindent is dishonest. Quality of products is poor. The house is full of silicone. It has been more than a year and the house is not completed yet. I tried to cancelled the contract and get my money back, but salesman never got back to me.

Had a contract with them, then almost due to closing they decided to cancel my contract!! It was a contract canceled for convenience as I said before prices are going up high and they just want to screw you over and resell if for much higher!!! “Greed” plain and simple it’s happening more often with more people!!!
