i have purchased 2 items from sellers signed baseball bats 1. was a magual cabrea bat and 2. ******************* bat. both items have beckett authenticate stickers on them and when i have tried to authticate the item the only thing i can get from becketts website was a paper that says that the paper was for display only and can not be used to authenticate the item. so i have tried to send them 3 emails with no answers and the last email i included my phone number if they wished to call me i even found a phone number but every number you press for service says to email them which obvious does not work either. i wanted to get verification of the authentications of the items that i have bought and all attemps to do so have failed. so i had to return the items that i bought because i could not verify authentication of them. my desired outcome is to have beckett to perform the service that they are getting paid for and provide authentication for the items that they are claiming are authenticate not just for me but for all the other customers that are suppose to be placing their trust in their serviceInitial Complaint

My name is *************************************. I am hoping you can help me with an issue that occurred in August of 2022. I had received information from a local memorabilia/trading card store here in ********** that I can get my basketball authenticated through Beckett authentication services. I chose a 30 day service for a basketball that was signed by 3 individuals and paid $105.00 for this service. Time had passed and it was a couple months after the 30 days so I tried contacting the company and just got the run around. They told me it was taking a bit longer and to just wait another week or so and that someone would contact me regarding my service. I waited and nothing or nobody contacted me. I tried going on the company website and reached out via email and tried phone numbers posted on the website but no answers have been made to me regarding this issue. This basketball had sentimental value to me as it was given to me by my now deceased grandmother. I had been out of town and totally spaced the situation especially after losing my grandmother. Time has passed and I know its over a year, but I truly appreciate it if this company would either give me back my basketball or finish the authentication service immediately as I paid for a 30 day service and it is now approaching almost 2 years. I am uploading my documentation that I paid for it on 8/25/2022 and sent my basketball via the *** store on 8/25/2022 as well. Please help me as this is a very delicate issue for me. the amount of money paid for 100% real ****** *********************** photos. $ ******** dollars.sent 12 photo's, they said they received 7??I told them and ***** I sent 12 Photo's I pressed them and said find my photos. if someone took 5 of them thats a felony as I had a value of 10k plus on them. two day later they said they received 12.They got mad and on purpose flunked all 12 photo's never called to explain, and I have proof they are real. they are vindictive and I want my money back. Im honest and know *** autographs as i have 53 years experience and met *** several times! My husband and I have been subscribing to Beckett ***************** for many years. The subscription is under his name, *********************. On January 23, 2024 I sent them a check for $44.95 for this years renewal. Finally in April I realized I had not received a magazine so I sent them an email. They replied back on 4/24 that their records did not show that my payment was received, and if I sent payment to send them a copy of my check. I did this the same day and they replied and said it was being sent to the appropriate department. I have emailed them on 4/26, 5/1 and again on 5/8 asking for an update. I have requested from them to get my back issues as well as updating and sending our subscription. They now will not answer me back.Initial Complaint

I sent a *************************** signed basketball into Beckett for authentification. I paid $500 for the services, unfortunately my signature was denied as authentic? I have pictures of the day and also provided an overview of the circumstances with which I met ******* that day. My problem with Beckett is during this very expensive process for review they never consulted me or asked for additional proof. When I try to contact Beckett "customer" service it only allows emails and the follow up is all canned response that is copied an pasted. When looking at their feedback on line they are ripping alot of people off and I'm hoping the BBB will see it for what it is a $500 SCAM.Initial Complaint

Beckett switched photos and certs on three of my purchases.They goofed up and mixed up my coas.I have been emailing calling for an entire year.I uploaded photos showing that the pictures on my certs don't even match the autos. Does Beckett edit and honor their work?I have been ghosted by there sales reps *************** ************************** *************** etc.I had another $2k to get my cards graded but I till they finish the job. Beckett recieved my order on 10/08/2022 with submission ID #*********** recieved 2 pokemon cards and 1 LeBron card. They promissed to grade my cards and ship them back to me. I paid them a $100 for grading and shipping. They stole my cards, never provided service and will not respond to my emails.I also paid $350 for my cards.Initial Complaint

On August 19 2023, our 13 year old son created an account, using my name, with Beckett and using a Card that was not in his name, nor that he had permission to use, purchased a '************ **************** Report and Mobile App' for $********* and a 'Sport for Web and Mobile App Hockey' for $129.99USD. On the basis that these services were not needed, nor used at any point. Plus that they allowed a minor to open an account and purchase ********************, against their own 'Terms of Service', we immediately reached out to Beckett to have the charges reversed and the account cancelled. Initially, ****** responded and said they would call us to correct the issue. They never called. We reached out again, I had an employee tell me that they would help me and that my case was being 'escalated to the concerned team, they will get back to you at the earliest.' That last email was Oct 23 2023. We never heard anything. We have emailed the company many times since demanding a response and the continue to ignore us. My co-workers bought me (2) Beckett Grading Services gift cards for a total of $265.00. I don't get my cards graded so I would like to know if I can use the gift cards for Beckett Marketplace so I can purchase cards or if I am able to exchange the cards for ones from Beckett Marketplace.Initial Complaint

Our yearly magazine subscription was coming to an end so I mailed in a check for a new subscription. They also automatically took a payment from my account without my knowledge. When reviewing my bank account, I had both payments ($45 check and $49.95 auto payment) deducted within 2 days. When I called, I was told they have a no refund policy. I did not give permission for auto payment. Poor customer service.
