            I just received notice via email today July 8th that my Smart-health Pay-card was being closed. I called and spoke with a representative "*****" he advised me that the high up executives decided that mine along with several other accounts will be closed effective 8/15/24. I inquired why Smart Health was not transferring member over to WellBridge CareCard since they purchased Smart Health... ***** had no answer and kept repeating to me that my account was being CLOSED! I asked to speak with a supervisor and *****'s response was "It will not do any good" as my account which is in good standing is being CLOSED.

            Please do not recommend this card to your clients / patients. We did recommend this card at our office but after a lot of complaints regarding difficulty signing up and the clunky app, I decided to try it for myself to see what we were encouraging. It has been terrible. It takes payments around 7 days to post where normal credit cards at ***** hours. If you attempt to pay but the posting take 7 days and it goes over your due date, you get a late payment fee. There are times I have made a large payment only to find it did not post after showing pending for over a week. My bank had no record they had tried to process it. Now I am trying to cancel the card and every time I call in, I go through all the verification steps and they tell me someone has to call me back. No one does so I submit an online support ticket and they say to call them again. Absolutely ridiculous to deal with. All of this after being extremely difficult to set up with back and forth calls prior to being able to actually use the card.
