I bought 15 cases of chips from samsclub, the classic lays potato chips, 1 oz. Bags with 50 per box. Most of the boxes had either bags of chips that were flat, meaning without any air in them or busted bags with chips all over the box. I called lays to tell them the issue, which of course you guys advertise all over the box and each bag, how its guaranteed fresh or your money back. They told me to email them a receipt which I did and they would get back to me. After 2 weeks without hearing from them, I received 3 coupons in the mail for $4.99 off my next purchase. Are you kidding me or something? I spent a few hundred dollars on this purchase for an event and this is what I get back when you guys advertise money back guaranteed! Which usually means MONEY!!! NOT A FEW COUPONS FOR 4 BUCKS!!! You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for sending me such a disgraceful way of payment for such a company like you guys!!!Initial Complaint

Late January, I purchased a new Frito Lay product as part of a SuperBowl promotion. It was without a doubt the worst snack product I've ever tasted. I threw the bag out and contacted Frito Lay about my dissatisfaction. They were kind enough to send me a voucher for a free Frito Lay product. That is where the problem stems from. The certificate was good for $5. The product I purchased was $6.50. In addition, as part of a medically monitored diet, a lot of my shopping is done online to comply, meaning I don't get to the grocery store even monthly. When I did attempt to use the voucher, I noticed it expired in April, which put an unreasonably short window on redemption. I am going to make two request of Frito Lay and I hope they honor both. 1) I would like to request two replacement certificates as the single certificate did not cover my loss. 2) I would also like to request that the replacement certificate have a minimum of a 6 month expiration. 12 would be idealBusiness response

I Am an independent convenience store owner in ******** ******** my customer account # is ********* was notified by the sales district leader (******************* ph. *********** that they are going to stop delivering product to my store after 20 year because i am to small of business now and they will not deliver any longer which i felt that the Frito lays had some kind of prejudice and racism against small business owner I've reached out to Frito lay customer service but they were too rude to help and listen ,so I am asking Frito lays to put us back in their route again because our product shelf has been empty at least 8 month and this isn't the first time it happensBusiness response

Bought 2 bags of there Smart Foof White ******* Popcorn and1/3 of the bag was popcorn crumbs and ther was no flavor. I paid **** for 2 bags of crumbs and no flavor. Want a refund.Business response

My wife bought a bag of Frito lays scoops and there was a what looked like a suture. I don't know what it could be. It's too thick to be a human hair. All I know it made her violent sick to her stomach.Customer response

This is the second time Ive purchased a box of the *********************************************************************************************************************** the box! Theyre not cheap and dont come with many of each in the variety ! Mind blowing to pay almost 20$ on chips and have multiple busted open bags. 3 the first time about a month and a half ago and 2 this go around.Business response

Chips were overseasoned in 2 bags to the point they were inedible. The 5 bags previous had almost no seasoning at all. When I called about it they did offer to replace 2 bags but I feel the public should be aware of this practice and policy of frito lay.Business response

Purchased a bag of Doritos Nacho Cheese on 6/22/23 @ ******************************. On 7/17/23 I was finishing eating the remaining crumbs when I bit into something hard. I removed it from my mouth and it was a piece of glass approx. 3/4" square x 1/4" thick. I placed a complaint on the Doritos website on that same day. No response as of yet. Attached are pictures of the bar code from the bag and a picture of the piece of glass. Don't want this to go without informing Frito- Lay of this issueBusiness response

On 07/19/2023 an email was received from the consumer and our Frito Lay email team processed coupons that were sent to the consumer. This case has now been transferred to the Frito Lay ***************************** and a Product Specialist will contact the consumer directly for additional follow up to this BBB complaint
