The are misrepresenting themselves as my home mortgage company and threatening to cancel my home insurance policy. They lie and claim I called them. After blocking them and telling them not to call, the send letters almost every day with misleading information, things that look like checks to me, and again misrepresenting themselves as my mortgage company. They are scammers and try to use harassment to get you to buy their product.Customer response

The attached is an example of one of MANY harassing and misleading letters. DO NO CONTACT ME!!! DO NOT call, text, mail, email, or smoke signal. I do not want to hear from this company every again.

We have received a notice from this company several times. On the outside of the letter it states first, second notices. I realize this is "advertisement" but this letter states false information that is misleading and in my opinion, threatening. The letter is misleading concerning a home warranty. I have not recently "purchased" my current home, which was stated in the first letter We received from this bustiness and in my opinion and this type of "advertisement" should not be allowed by any state. Anyone who is not familiar with this type of "SCAM" could be fooled into believing that they have something that they don't and in fear for "lapse" of coverage. Also, stating that you "only have 10 days" to respond is also threatening. Please do something to make this business stop sending these "advertisement' letters..Business response

On the 1st week of September, and previously, I have been receiving urgent "past due" or "second notice" letters from American Home Protect, llc.These letters are unnecessarily alarming, regarding my home mortgage.This company must cease contacting me in any way.Business response

This Company has forwarded two letter about a home warranty expiration which I have never had since 1997. Its seems they are fishing and when contacted are unable to answer appropriately the nature of the letters. The second letter was in pink paper as if it was urgent because of potential lapse in coverage. This type of business strategy is completely inappropriate if all they are looking is to sell a home warranty policy.Business response

Once again received a mailing threating me . ,I have never had any thing to do with this unethical company and want all communication from this company stop! Never gave them permission or sign up with them for any of there sevices. Again this needs to stop now !Business response

This company needs to stop their deceptive and unethical business practices. They establish false pretenses and attempt to obtain business by preying on fear. Echoing a previous complaint, Mine is also the same: "I want this sham company to stop sending me intimidating solicitations, trying to scare me into buying their fake coverage.. I don't appreciate mail with "SECOND NOTICE" or "FINAL NOTICE" stamped in big red letters on the envelope, making it look like I don't pay my bills! I've never done business with them and would not consider them. I don't know why they are sending these to me, but I want it stopped immediately!" Thank youBusiness response
