5 starsTotal Scam; my bank is helping me resolve because getting real invoice from ******* did nothing but generate an email from Katapult saying We have updated your information. When you ask for their total, nothing changes. Further, like customers already here, my bank did not process one installment and suddenly everything in my bank account (nothing that equals a missed payment) is stolen from me. It has left me eating crumbs off carpet for 2 weeks until payday. I have paid this off, but cannot get help from Katawamp. My bank sees what I am saying, Wayfair sees what is happening, and I get collection calls from Kata saying they may record our conversation and when I tell them mine is likewise recorded, they get rough and state permission to record is not granted. Funny. My state says differently. They call more than 15 times a day, every day. I have the log on phone. This is so bad.Review fromCarl G

Dont use Katapult, its a giant scam. So I have been put in collections twice now. Somehow I was taken off automatic payments and missed one payment and originally agreed to paying $150 biweekly for a $4k pc. So now 2nd time they have said I missed a payment but it shows paid on my end and now they say I owe $500. How does even if I missed 2 payments added up equal $500? Which they already have taken out one of those payments because they said they can do that because I agreed in contract to that but now they state that I still owe that missed payment. Do not use them because their app will show you paid and your bank account will show you paid then you send in a email and the email disappeared from their system because they never follow up and just keep saying I am in collections. And I have been going up the chain and still everyone says the money makes sense. 150 + 150 doesnt equal 500 and even if it did, then why was that money taken out but I still owe it. I also caught them in a lie because they said I missed a full months payment but I asked about this payment that was taken out a few days prior and they said oh, well you agreed to us automatically taking money out of your account. And now today they say that the money they took out wasnt for that payment but in the same sentence said that I paid for that payment but still need to pay for that payment. And if you try to talk to someone else about it, they send you on a wild goose ****** And I know Katapult will respond with please contact our customer service number and someone will help you. No they wont. They will throw you in collections and make up extra days to say you are in collections for longer than you actually are. They put you in collections on day one if you miss a payment even if its not your s**** up. Lastly, the app is broken because it showed me as paid, and got 30 calls in one day and I told them it shows paid and then the person says check your app now. Suddenly $400 is owed.Katapult Group, Inc.

i bought some items off using katapult and yes i missed a payment but i caught up on it and put alot of money towards the leases. one time i went to pay again and it shows that im owing double the weekly payments and it increased what i need to pay in total for the leases? i even double checked in the lease overviews and the records show i owe less than what i allegedly need to pay. i dont know if this is their system being faulty or what? i dont know but its kind of sketchy.Katapult Group, Inc.

This company is a fraud!!!!..I dont have an account with this company and someone is using my information. I have contacted them several times and explained this to them and they still keep charging every new credit card I receive. THIS COMPANY NEEDS AN INVESTIGATION!!!! I WILL SUE THIS COMPANY. This place is no good for anyone i got some equipment through them and part of it didnt work so i returned it i had been trying for weeks to get in touch with someone and couldn't until i blocked all payments then i could finally talk to someone named ****** and she refused to put in that i returned the weed eater fast forward to a week and a half ago they go into my account and get my new card numver and then helped themselves in my account i called back and again no one would talk to me this place is bad for anyone they are no good at allKatapult Group, Inc.

worst customer service ever either your talking to a robot or some outsourced call center were the people on the other end of the phone do nothing to help just kick the can down the road they have been sitting on my money for over a month katapult never submitted my order to tires plus no katapult is making me the customer do all the leg work to prove that katapults order was ever submitted to tires plus huh ? i want my money i want my money back i need my money back this publicly traded company owned by vanguard is a shamKatapult Group, Inc.

Katapult should be shut down due to running a scam, been a customer of theirs for a few years never a problem, took out a few loans with them and paid them off. So I like this company well not no more after being scammed. I signed another lease with them which is a legal document and if you dont pay your in breech of contract. But apparently the contract does not go the same for them. I opened another lease and went to make a order with ******* and paid my down payment to start the lease, they issued me a virtual one time payment card in which was declined for insuficiant funds, ******* then advised me they put a 10 day hold on the card, I contacted katapult who advised me that was rare. But however they could not help me, I then spoke to a lady who said she was corperate level who also could not help me my lease was canceled. So now no product and no refund and no email verification of being canceled now they are in violation of consumer laws and I was told just wait, no offer to fix or make right and as of now no refund and i was pretty much told indirectly they dont care about losing customers, wow. And with also being a reviewer of companies i cant wait to share how this company Is. Proof even good companies turn bad or maybe its just because i havent had a problem til now. But the service is poor 0 stars and apparently legal documents only go for us and not them I will be seeking legal advice on this matter because consumers should not be scammed like this.Katapult Group, Inc.

WHAT A SCAM!!!Wish I could leave 0 stars. Ive been waiting for a refund for the past month. It all started when I paid my down payment for a Best Buy order and suddenly the page had an error but still charged my debit card. So what does customer service do? They made me reorder my original order that magically went thru but with ANOTHER down payment. Thats 2 down payments with 1 active lease only. They did not credit the original down payment for the active lease, but they said I was going to receive a refund within 3-5 business days.. its been over a month and I kept getting the same excuse, please wait 3-5 business days. I guess it is my fault for falling for their scam but hopefully no one else falls the same way I did and reads this review!!!!Katapult Group, Inc.

These morons turned auto pay off on 1 account out of 3 (on auto pay!) and I get some buy out deal find out it was collections. 5 years, no problem. Then they do this and ZERO responsibilities! Went from $3k to $0 and told keep applying every 30 days. Well, you don't want my business that's fine but YOU did this. *****************Katapult Group, Inc.
