      On 4/22 I moved from an apartment to a house not even 10 minutes away. I've used AB Moving before, moving from Heath to Garland, TX. which is about 30 minutes away and their workers took half the time the ones on 4/22 did even though I was moving the same amount and a shorter distance. They did this because the movers decided to park on the other side of the building (where the truck was mostly unattended and not within view) so they could be close to the elevator, even for smaller objects. The previous workers did not do this, they only utilized the elevator when needed for large items. Unfortunately, I ended up paying double, it took them all day because they were walking a much farther distance and using a slow elevator to move even mundane things. Another issue is that because they truck was not viewable and unattended the majority of the time, my daughter and I lost or had most of our clothes stolen off the truck. I paid $1300+ to move 10 minutes away and lost close to $3000+ in possessions because of their negligence. They are now not taking responsibility for the lack of proessionalism and the pure negligence of their workers and offering to settle for $219, which will not even remotely cover what it will cost to repurchase everything lost as well as sentimental items.

      The crew from AB Moving did not wrap my things properly and ruined $2,600 of brand-new furniture. The company asked for receipts for the sofa and chaise, as well as photos of the damage. Two weeks later, they offered me a $285 settlement. The move itself cost $487.75, and the furniture is so damaged that I can't even donate it.

      On February 17, 2022 I used AB Moving to move items from a storage unit to my new home. I also used AB Moving on July 3, 2021 to pack up my items and on July 5, 2021 to move my items into the same storage unit. Upon delivery to my new home there were several damaged items and some missing pieces. I filed a claim with AB Moving On July 17 and included pictures of all damaged items and was offered a settlement amount of $25 for just one of the items. I have attempted to escalate with them and none of my phone calls or emails have been returned. Below are the items that were damaged and/or missing: -Waterford Goblets shattered (offered $25 settlement) -Outdoor Sunbrella table - one leg has been broken off and is missing (cannot use the table with 3 legs) -Dresser mirror - glass shattered -King size bed frame assembly pieces missing

Items going into a clients storage that not under our custody and control are not covered. Although we denied the claim we did offered the client a settlement based on the coverage taken for the move. She denied the settlement so we can increased the offer to greater amount than the coverage Ms ***** took for the move. Considering the total damage is well over $1k, with the mirror having to be discarded altogether, I am asking for some additional consideration with the settlement amount. Thanks.       Last year, (8/30/2021 & 8/31/2021, move # XXXXXX) we had AB Moving move us from our house into a storage unit. We were using this unit to hold our property unit our new home completed at the beginning of this year. As part of the move, had the company move some items to my parent's house where we were staying in the interim. I have a collection of scotch packed in multiple boxes that was being moved. All but one box was filled to capacity (12 bottles each) and taped up in preparation for the move. I intended to move the one box that was not taped myself, but it ended up getting picked up by your team along with the items that were coming to my parent's house. This un-taped box had 2 brand new bottles of scotch along with a few other items. The taped boxes of scotch went to the storage unit. After the move, I went to grab those two bottles of scotch and they were not there. I called the company to ask if the movers had found them in the truck after the move and was informed that the movers said "No". I know for a fact that only the movers could explain how those 2 bottles went missing but decided it would make more sense to wait until I could assess if there were any other missing bottles. Once we moved out of the storage unit, I was able to confirm other bottles were also missing. Through recognition that a few of my most expensive bottles were gone and by reviewing my receipts from Total Wine, I could directly identify an additional 7 missing bottles which meant an entire other box of scotch had also been stolen. With all boxes being full when packed, and the box being used was a 12-count liquor, that meant an additional 5 bottles were also missing. (2 bottles from the open box delivered to my parent's house + 7 individually identified bottles in the second box + 5 unidentified bottles in the second box = 12 bottles). I submitted a claim to the company that included the itemized list of missing bottles (a total of $1,717.91 + $141.73 worth of tax). The respon

We were not asked to perform an inventory of the items going to customers storage nor were we given an inventory. We did not take items out of storage. Claim was denied because of the above reasons and it is stated on the signed bill of lading.       Dispute is about much damage to furniture, refrigerator, household, and personal items. Some missing. Moving date: November 4,2021 from a two story house. Moved about 5mi. within Mckinney. Moving charge: $2,128.25 Job: #XXXXXX-X Initially the agreement was for two trucks, and each with two or three workers due to the sizable move. Only one truck with three workers came. I asked about the other truck and crew, but the driver said they would do the job in one day. They worked from about 9am until about 1:00am the next day , and refused to finish, and left hastily. I had to get other help to complete the move. Everything was loaded by hand. The truck did not have a lift, nor did they use a loading ramp. Most furniture had some damage, some broken furniture, some expensive picture frames broken, and broken glassware ( some collectable ). The stainless refrigerator door is scratched with several burnished areas by rubbing against other objects. Also, several burnished areas on the furniture. A large expensive oil painting has surface damage. I had prescription medicine missing. They were not supposed to pack medicine. The packing that they did was so mixed that we could not tell what areas of the house that item came from until we handled everything. Items from the bathroom may be with kitchen items. The bottom of my grandfather clock is broken. There are additional damages that are not listed. I was charged for several pricy garment boxes, but nothing was hanging, and the clothing was just dumped in. Item were so scattered that it took several days to determine where things were located. Two days after the move I contacted AB Moving Customer Service to report the bad service by the movers, and the resulting damages. I received no reply from AB Moving after several days. I then asked for them to send someone to observe the damages. About a month later an employee of AB Moving came to observe the damages. OUT OF ROOM

Among the missing is something we have not mentioned: Sterling Silver Flatware set valued at about $1000.00. I may not be able to prove it, but it is a loss to us.       I hired AB Moving to move my items from storage and also my apartment and garage into 2 POD containers. In my garage, I had started a project refinishing some of my furniture and had purchased a new sander late in 2021. Prior to moving, I placed all my tools in my Ryobi tool bag. I personally oversaw the people that unpacked the PODs into my house and the tools were not there. In the tool bag, I had several hundred dollars worth of tools,2 cordless drills, extra batteries, battery charging stations, drill bits, sander, electric saws all purchased by my ex-husband except for the sander that I purchased in late 2021. So I only have a receipt for the sander. No one should come into your home and steal from you. A moving company should not make it this difficult to be reimbursed either. Additionally, the movers busted one of my paintings as well. Now, I have to repurchase tools to complete my furniture project

      A&B Moving was contracted to move our belongings from our old address to our new one. On moving day, everything was moved and the movers connected our washer and dryer (with a steam function) without us asking them to. A couple of weeks later, water began gushing out of the wall that is shared with our laundry room. When you stepped on some of the floor boards in the living room, water gushed out. When the baseboards were pulled off, black mold was found. We were told that black mold can form in 72 hours. We are now having to pay for new flooring, baseboards and the labor associated with all of the work being done for a house that was two weeks old at the time. We contacted A&B Moving to report their negligence and they are refusing to pay for anything, stating that we "signed a contract."

The customer signed a contract stating coverage is .60 cents on the pound additional coverage was offered prior to the move but the customer took basic coverage. The cusomter signed a damage report after the move stating all was fine with the move no damages or water damage. We did not have access to the home after the move-3 weeks after the move a claim was reported. The claim was denied based on section 5 of the contract signed by the client.       In September of 2021 I used AB moving to move from our home in Georgetown to a new place 45 minutes later. Long story short, they ruined our stamped concrete floors. They destroyed some of our personal items and when I complained to the office, they offered me under $400 for everything. The floors alone were quoted by multiple businesses at $6,000 to $8,000 to repair and I personally put out $300 to have them waxed and buffed to try and get them repaired first. The list of items damaged or destroyed were: - Stamped concrete floors (I paid $300 to try and wax/buff the scratches but failed. Cost to fix $6000-$8000) - Heavy desk $(1000) - XL Desk Chair ($500) - Chess end table that was a gift ($400) - Handles on our refrigerator were removed and they lost the bolts (they have since been replaced) - They never hooked up the dryer because they destroyed the dryer vent and left it hidden behind the machine not hooked up - All of our shelving we had in our garage they moved to the truck and did not take it apart. They put stuff on the shelves for the move and it ruined the shelving ($250 to replace them) - They didn't move everything as agreed on. My wife and I had to finish the move the next day They also had a shady practice of having me sign a phone in the middle of the move with no wording on it stating "Oh, this just lets us move your stuff". I have no idea what I signed because there was no way to see it. After the $400 offer I declined and asked for half of my move money back as it seemed more than fair. I have not been able to get a response in months. I have documents and pictures to back all of this up.

      I hired AB Moving company on 12/8/21. The reservation was for packing and moving services and in my contract is 4 men crew this is a time sensitive move since I have to be heading out of state. That day I received a text that they are confirmed to arrive,the crew is 2hrs late.I called multiple times for ETA. The whole time I am waiting my sister and I started packing items. When the men arrived one is eager to get started and the other says they are late because he did not want to get up to work. The last person arrived separately and they wanted to cut him off they said it doesnt seem like they need him but I insisted we need to get this done asap. In the next hour only one guy seem to be getting things moving. One is assigned to pack in the kitchen but spent most of his time stocking his beverages in my freezer and talking. The other is mostly on his phone, It was frustrating to look at this crew that and only one is working. My sister continued to pack the living room and eventually finished the bedrooms when these guys still havent done any packing and took their time loading the truck. it is not a house but an apartment! It has been over three hours and the kitchen still look the same that we offered to do them too if they will just keep moving. We had been doing their job they spent most of their time in the truck, then we heard a loud fight and one of the guys came inside bloody and asked to clean up in my bathroom. They keep apologizing as one is hurt, the other wanted to leave, and the other is slow as he says he is recovering from injury.We had to motivate them to keep going. I ended up just telling them to leave some stuff behind. Then one left tools and keeps calling me and my sister. I had to get a hotel and missed my interview next day. I got charged $1500 and the settlement is $280. I keep contacting it is unacceptable and they stopped responding to me. These move took close to 8 hours and caused me stress, time wasted and unfair pending compensation

      I have hired ABMoving services to move my belongings to my newly built home and they have "wreaked havoc" during the moving day, to say the least. They have damaged furniture as well as parts of the branding new home as per pictures and documents attached. They have conveniently ran away from their responsibility by saying "We have completed review process of your claim and have determined that we are not liable for damages of items coming in or out of storage, pod/shell or rental truck. This information is provided in your quote and contract for moving service. We have attached the contract for your records. Coverage information is located in section 5(b). We apologize for any inconvenience.". While some items were in a storage (just a few of them), the they dwelling was not, nor the mattress they damaged, nor the bed, not many other things. Being in a storage does not grant them the right to damage any of my belongings either. Their response is unacceptable, this not only has to be registered at BBB, and mediation is needed so they pay for the damages they caused.
