I read an "advertorial" online in August regarding Dr. ******* and ordered her paperback book Unbreakable Brain for $36.99. The paperback book arrived in a timely manner but the problem began when my credit card account was charged on a monthly recurring basis for $36.99. At this time my credit card has been charged ****** with another payment to be charged in two weeks.I am furious that this business is charging $39.97 for a flimsy 6 page newsletter, seemingly no way to cancel or be reimbursed by this company. I am 75 years of age and cannot afford to deal with this type of stress.Business Response

I Received a renewal letter that I am going to be charged on 01/01/2024 in the amount of $47.00 monthly . It says it will be automatically be billed to the credit card on file. I do NOT want to renew this. I have tried calling their assistance number at ************ multiple times. After waiting several minutes it says to Leave A Message and that it doesnt recognize my number that I received a text to from this company . No calls have ever been returned, at least not yet. Their website to cancel is supposedly www.NHCsub.com But no were to cancel. There is no record of my last order and no place to cancel a subscription. I'm not looking to cancel the renewal so I dont get billed. Seems this is an ongoing complaint and frustrating.Business Response

I have been trying to cancel this subscription but can't get through the phone system. When i call the number provided i get someone trying to sell me something else, I can't speak to a customer service person in order to cancel. I listened and watched a video in July and was offered what I thought was a free booklet and I just had to pay shipping. I have noticed now that I have been charged $39.95 per month for 4 months now and I definitely did not sign up for that. This is most definitely a deceptive business practice and I am being scammed! I have no respect for this so called Dr. and also for the company called *********** that seems to be connected to this ridiculous scam. Stop it with the **** I expect a refund and an apology. I see that I am not alone in this predicament. Stop taking advantage of people looking for answers about their health and start actually helping people. Be clear with what you are selling! I recieved a letter in the mail telling me that my renewal date is 11-18-2023.If I didnt want it to be renewed to call **************. I called and got an automated response saying they couldnt find an account under the number I was calling from (yet my number was listed on the letter) and asked me to put in my phone number and I did.
