****** Corps llc. rented a pump from sunbelt rentals for a project. upon being invoiced there was tax and rpp added to the bill. we notified them we are tax exempt as so is the client the work was performed for and invoice needed to be corrected to be paid.they kept running us around to avoid deducting the tax and rpp from the invoice. we sent them the tax exempt cert and paperwork filled out they sent us. they still refused so at the advise of our attorney we were to pay them everything but the sales and use tax and rpp as we have our own insurance. we notified sunbelt that we would be paying everything but the tax and rpp as we had sent over the info numerous times to them. we have around 50 accounts and all have the exact same tax paperwork as sunbelt and we have never had 1 issue until sunbelt. my office called today as we have a large project that we needed equipment on to find out why we cannot log into our account to be told it was closed as a bad debt account. we owed them nothing . when i explained what had happen to the extremely rude lady on the phone she told us we would have to re apply in 2 years for a account.i explained to her i have all the emails right here in front of me and that if this isn't fixed we would be filing a lawsuit today.we are giving sunbelt 1 chance to fix this as we have 0 bad debt accounts or outstanding accounts with any of our accounts . they screwed up and need to fix and reopen our credit account or we will be filing in court. its not our fault whoever they had dealing with the account doesn't understand the law and the way tax exempt works in *****. proof that we submitted our tax exempt to them and also proof that we are tax exempt under Texas.
