05/03/2023 paid $313.43 to Kwik to have my car fixed. The crankshaft sensor code was in the car which triggered the check engine. I took the car back 4x since it was not fixed and the indicator was still on in the car when leaving. I was told by mechanic **** that I needed to drive the car since the sensor had been replaced in order for the sensor to calibrate, which it never did. I was told I had a oil gasket leak which was causing the issue. I got that fixed and the issue persist. On the 4th attempt to get the issue fixed I left the car with the shop. Then they called me to tell me they don't know why the code won't clear and they think it may be the timing chain which they do not service. I asked for a refund since they didn't fix the issue and they denied saying they replaced the sensor. I did not pay them to troubleshoot my car. I also have them the ORiely print out (attached) with issue and suggested resolution. Since the issue was not fixed and they can't fix it I'm requesting a refund. I also spoke to make **** who said he escalated my refund request in the system and they're is no turn around time since one person handles and my wait is indefinite. This is unacceptable as they did not fix the issue. I also included documents where the recommended resolution was to replace engine variable valve timing solenoid which they did not do and say they don't service. I took the car to Auto Zone thereafter and the issue and resolution is still identical. Auto zone report is attached.
