Upon beginning the conversation with *******, the receptionist, there were many red flags. She didnt know the correct pricing for the job and told me multiple different things, invoiced me for the wrong job and then had the start and end dates of the job completely wrong. Theyre supposed to come out on a Saturday and didnt come until Monday. I was told theyd be done that evening And lo and behold begins the eight days of waiting for this job to be done. It was supposed to only take two days. During this whole process when they poured the epoxy, it was the wrong color. They lied about where the color catalog found came from, I found out from another company They were using their color catalog and advertising something completely different because it was cheaper. I also found out all of the epoxy products they used were not the correct epoxy and they used extremely cheap products and they charge me a crazy insane amount for the job. First time they did the floors they had to be redone because it looked like someone sprinkled dust all over the floor, and then just pour epoxy on top because it wasnt sanded correctly at all. They didnt level anything. They didnt edge anything. The guys were extremely immature and irresponsible with their work. Im still trying to get my thousand dollars back from my card. The second time they redid the floors they had the completely wrong color and then they tried to hire an outside company to come in and they were honest with me and told me how screwed up the floors were and they they couldnt fix it. They sent another company out and they said the same thing, not rush be an honest real man and face the problem he kept having other people speak for him. I find him to be a very weak individual come to find out he has been very deceitful and terrible too many other people. The universe will have its way with him eventually. He also admitted how bad the floors were whenever I sent pictures.

I hired this company to strip the epoxy coating from my pool deck and figure out what the problem was that kept making it turn colors, they told me that I needed to simply needed to strip it then reapply epoxy and that would fix the problem that would cost $5000.00. They didnt even do the work but hired another company without my knowledge to do the work which I would have never approved . The fact is there was water coming from under the concrete which they should have tested for to make sure, now they refuse to address and wont return calls.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/20/2023

Good evening, we are a decorative concrete company with multiple branches within it. ****, handles all of our stain, stamp, overlay work and has for years!

As far a moisture testing, we can test for moisture the day of but that changes from day to day. One day it could be low and the next could be high. We can only warranty what it measures THAT DAY. Saying we didn't return calls is not true, we reached out, spoke to you and you said " you have 2 days to come up with a plan". Before the second day was even over, you left a review.

We never said we wouldn't repair or refund. You accused us of trying to scam, which was a lie and said "your epoxy sucks" we didn't even use epoxy. Epoxy doesn't go outside, it's not UV stable.

I was I was deceived, mislead and lied too. Fake ****** reviews, fake pictures of his works. Here's the story. On January 12th we hired Rush&Reef Concrete Coatings to do stained concrete to the house floors. The job was suppose to take two days. On the 13th we were told they needed an extra day and that Saturday they'd be able to finish. We had no problem with that. ****** and I stopped by the house Friday evening to look at the floors and we were immediately upset when we saw how terrible the floors looked. It looked like it was their first time staining concrete. The color was not what we asked for. Each rooms stain looked completely different. The circles where they grinded the concrete were visible and some areas were left with the previous floor glue. They also stained a part of our new kitchen cabinets and a corner of the wall. And put some grey powered at the bottom of two of our trees. ****** text the owner and told him the floors looked awful and that it wasn't going to work. The owner text back and said since we were unhappy that he would refund us. And he did refund us. We figured he would at least try to explain the sloppy work. Say he'd come back to fix it and make it right. But no. His immediate response was here's your money back. Almost like he knew he had messed up. Since the job was only suppose to take two days we had put everything outside of the house instead of in storage . We had to go stay with my parents because the house was full of dust and was empty. We were never told how dusty the house would get. We were never told to remove clothes from our closets. All of our clothes had to be washed because of the thick layer of dust on them. It shocked me that the company didn't even think to call and ask us to take our clothes out or even cover them in plastic. What was suppose to be a two day project turned into two weeks. We had to drive 30 minutes twice a day from our parents house to ours to feed the animals, along with other inconveniences of living away from home for 2 weeks. Because of this ****** told the owner of Rush&Reef he could either pay for us to hire someone else to come grind down his work or we would take him to small claims court. So 10 days into everything the owner finally agreed to pay us $1,400.00 and told ****** he was lucky he was giving us the money. So if you're ever thinking of getting your floors done think twice about using Rush&Reef. Rush&Reef Concrete Coatings
