1 starThis was the worst experience I have had with any contractor. A plumber came to fix a leak in our shower that was leaking into the lower level. The plumber cut a hole in the ceiling, said it was "fixed," and later said it had a 60/40 chance of being successful. He went on to say if it wasn't fixed, it would require a more extensive repair(which Knockleman couldn't do due to lack of manpower) and then referred me to his friends to repair. It wasn't fixed. I paid ******, deciding I would address the situation with management. The plumber left with the hole in the ceiling. I have attempted multiple times to talk with a representative of the company, but cannot get a return call.Review fromAN O

1 starStay away!!! They will upsell you on parts not needed, at ridiculous prices. I called them in need as my furnace would not kick on. Tech was here within two hours, that was awesome. He told me after running all diagnostics that I needed a control board, $851. Sounded high to me but I was in immediate need for repair. He came back the next day, put in the control board and then said - looks like you need a new gas valve too, $732. Less 15% if I joined their $15 month subscription service. Even so, again it sounded high. I was backed into a corner needing hear so he conducted the repair. The next day I called another company out of curiosity and they gave me a quote for $595, both parts installed. Less than half PPs price. I felt ripped off, because I was. I executed the satisfaction guaranty and had PP come pull the parts out, and then I had the reasonable company come to put them back in. Turns out I didnt need the control board, PPs tech tricked me into thinking I did. Total final amount from other company = $372 (just the gas valve, no control board) vs what would have been almost $1400 from ****** ******. They are not honest, and will upsell you parts not needed. On a positive note, they did uphold their guaranty.Review fromTaylor F

1 starA year ago my mother who is handicapped due to a stroke and easily confused wanted a new AC unit for her house since her old one broke down. She had ** **** come out and 2 of their employees took advantage of her by selling her a new AC and a new furnace. She thought she was just getting a new AC. I shouldve known something was up since 1 of their employees kept me preoccupied by talking to me in the next room! Our furnace we had was only 3 years old and when the installers who showed up noticed it they brought it up to us and thats when we found out about all this. The installers called their office and the office said she paid for it, she gets it even the installers were ****** for us. I contact the advantage program people and they say we dont have a balance at all? Like what? We are paying you $300 a month? How do we not have a balance?! This place is a joke and a scam and they take advantage of the elderly and disabled. DO NOT USE THEM.Review fromTamara M

1 starI am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the unethical business practices of Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning. They took advantage of my elderly uncle, who is a proud Veteran, by the way, by pushing them into a lease agreement for an HVAC unit instead of clearly offering or explaining traditional financing options. Leasing an HVAC system is highly unusual and far more expensive in the long run, and it was evident they took advantage of someone who trusted them. In fact, my uncle has paid for the unit twice over now and still does not own the unit! To make matters worse, they have not upheld their end of the contract. The lease clearly stated regular maintenance would be included yet they have failed to follow through, ignoring multiple requests and phone calls for scheduled service. This neglect not only breaches the contract, but puts the system (and our family members comfort and safety) at risk. This kind of predatory behavior especially toward seniors is unacceptable. I would strongly urge others to carefully read the fine print and consider looking elsewhere for HVAC services. A reputable company should operate with transparency, integrity, and honor their contracts. Sadly, that has not been our experience with Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning.Review fromJuls F

1 starPLEASE READ!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY PLUMBING ISSUES. The first day they were scheduled to come, they arrived almost 2 hours late, sat in our driveway for 20 minutes, did not make an attempt to even enter the house; INSTEAD, they left a Sorry we missed you tag on our doorknob outside. The following day, they showed up, AGAIN, another hour late. We were told to leave the house, as it was going to be very noisy, so we left for the duration of their services at our home for close to 6 hours. We then walk into our home with a HUGE MESS of Sheetrock debris, old, wet wood with ***** nails sticking out, dust EVERYWHERE, mud tracked throughout the ENTIRE house, AND they didnt even bother to repatch the holes they made in the ceiling. The top floor apartment where they also had to work in, was left in similar conditions as the downstairs apartment. Mud everywhere, old caulk all over the shower floor, and a drain, that sticks up about a half an inch from the base of the shower floor, causing the water to POOL UP rather than DRAIN. Our landlord asked me to send him a video of the top floor shower drain with the water running, and I suddenly received a call from the downstairs neighbors, saying that it was literally RAINING in their living room. They had the audacity to mark the job as COMPLETED, yet they failed to fix the issue, which started as a TINY LEAK turned into a f****** monsoon. B/c of this, MORE damage has been caused, & what was a VERY TINY LEAK has now turned into an insane disastrous mess. What did they do for the almost 6 hours they were working? NOT SURE. These people are HIGHLY unprofessional, CLEARLY uncertified plumbers, and have ZERO regard for ANY mess they will make in your home. In the photos below, you will see the small bowl filled with a SMALL AMOUNT of water, and then you will see the AFTERMATH of their completed work!!Review fromDolores T

2 starsLast June 2024 two men came to my house to service my air conditioner and when they were done, they brought to my attention that the floor where my water heater was sagging and they could repair it. but I had to buy a new water heater for it to be repaired. I told them there was nothing wrong with my water heater and I didn't need a new one. I told them I am on limited income and couldn't afford it, that's when they told me about the advantage program and that I could pay low payments they made it sound so good and the floor would be repaired so I agreed to do this. So when the water heater was the new water heater was installed the man left and I never received any paper work on this water heater and I had no idea when the payments were due. So I called and asked to please mail me a copy of this contract and I received a copy per PDF document and I had no idea that I was leasing this water heater and my payments were paying the Service Experts. So I asked if I could please get out of this contract and just make payments for the water heater, and I was told that to get out of this contract I would have to pay an early termination fee plus pay over $3000 dollars to own this water heater. I am so angry because I never had any idea I was first of all leasing a this water heater and I am struggling to pay for this God forsaken water heater and it be over $6000 dollars. this is so ridiculous that I'm appalled and angry about this whole thing. I'm finally getting a copy of the service contract in the mail. I would please like to work something out so I can get out of this ridiculous contract and make my payments for the water heater itself please111111Review fromPaul A

1 starOriginally came out to attempt to fix a water heater on a Friday evening. After about 5 hours and the part they brought would not fit, they had to weld a pipe from the second water heater just so we could have partial hot water over the weekend. They left and said they would return on Monday/Tuesday. On Monday, they called and said they could only replace and not repair the unit. Now I am receiving bills for work not performed and have tried calling their billing department numerous times to only be given the runaround. I do not feel someone should have to pay for work that was not received or maybe that is their business model. Either way, would not recommend.Review fromJamell N

1 starAfter getting our HVAC serviced on March 10, 2025 of which was supposed to be a routine service. Our HVAC which is less than 2 years old has stopped cooling, which to me would mean that the technician didnt do a thorough job in inspecting, cleaning, and checking the freon level. We have made multiple calls try o the company in order to get a technician sent out to check and fix the problem, but we have been getting the run around from them. Seeing that it was 90 plus degrees outside and that we have a 1 year old baby in the house has made a possible small situation into a major problem.Review fromAmanda M

1 starOne night my tub stopped emptying and I suspected a clog. I wasnt able to locate it myself so I called this company to come and take a look. The two guys that came spent a total of 10 minutes looking at the pipe. They didnt ask any questions, failed to notice that the toilet and sink, which empty into the same line, were both working fine, and failed to try any measures to snake the line or send a camera in to locate the clog. They told me the line needed to be replaced and quoted $1300+ for the job. My husband took a closer look at the line, located the clog pretty quickly and was able to fix it for $20. Will never use this company again or recommend to anyone as they employees are completely incompetent and just looking to make money instead of reasonably resolving the concern.Review fromJonathan B

1 starI am a PSE maintenance customer and have been for over 18 years, I had a scheduled, confirmed appointment which I was available for all day today. I called 1 hour after my scheduled service time slot and was told my appointment was cancelled and they tried to reach me the day beforein which a voice mail from Peachtree Service Experts was left asking if I would like to reschedule. Since I did not return the call, as I did not want to reschedule my time, my appointment was cancelled. The reason a supervisor gave for for the cancellation was Management overbooked appointments and have instructed them team to reschedule "certain" appointments... the maintenance customers. This is a poor maintenance program and management of this organization lacks integrity and ethical leadership capabilities. I will be replacing 2 ********** in the near future and will not consider this company as a candidate to do the work.
