Went to Fossil store to get a new battery for my watch. The watch was working fine but the second hand was starting to slow down. Store person said he could replace the battery but came back and said it was the watch, not the battery. Said I could get a deal on a new watch but I had to turn in my old watch. I passed on the offer and took the watch to a Watch store. He put in a new battery but said the contact on the battery was broken. He also said that if the watch was working when I went to Fossil that the store person broke the battery contact. Went back to Fossil store. Relayed the problem and he said that they would repair my watch at NO COST. He did not deny he broke my watch. The receipt he gave me for the watch says $0.00 for repair. Fossil sent me an e-mail stating that it would cost me over $53 to repair my watch or they would return it to me for shipping costs.I just want my watch repaired and shipped at NO COST. NFI C/O FG SERVICES ** ********* ********* UNIT * BRAMPTON, On. I sent my Zodiac Red Tag classic watch for maintenance to Fossil FG Services (to above address) since they are the ones responsible for Zodiac watch repairs in Canada. It's been over 3 months now and still no news about my watch..Based on my tracking info. the watch was received at their location in Brampton, Ontario Canada. I then received an email alerting me my product was received and then sent to their other US location in Dallas, Texas and for me to follow up within 2 weeks for repair status..Since then I've called multiples time and each time I've spoken to deferent representatives from the Philippines, Hungry India and from Belgium. Some acknowledged they can't find my shipment and other lied that they have but there is delays based on the pandemic. I've demanded my call be transfer to a manager or someone in North America and experienced phone disconnections with no resolve. I've owned this Watch for over 27yrs.Business response
