    Had a complete new system installed by Roctex on 5/15/2024. Everything was great until the cold weather came around & my heat didn't work. I called Roctex to inform them of the issue & instead of just coming out to fix it, they said I had to call american home shield to get the issue resolved. It cost me an extra $100 for roctex to come out and fix a problem that was never done correctly in the first place. The installers had hardwired my AC so that was all that kicked on. Super frustrating and pathetic to not take accountability for their own actions. *** would have never known if you would have just sent someone out to take a look at it and correct the issue.

    Mr. ***** was offered 2 options for the replacement of his system-- via American Home Shield's (AHS) Upgrade Program, OR a retail price via RocTex. Both options have advantages/ disadvantages.The RocTex retail option price was $8,000. Advantage = 5yr Labor Warranty, along with 10yr Manufacturer Warranty. If ANYTHING goes wrong with the system over the subsequent 5yr period, Mr ***** calls our office directly and we send someone out to his home-- NO CHARGE. Disadvantage = the RocTex retail option was approx $600 more than AHS.The AHS Upgrade option price was $7,416.79. Advantage = lower price than RocTex retail option. Disadvantage = no Labor Warranty from RocTex, all issues with the new system have to have a work order submitted via *** just like any other work request. THIS IS AHS' PROTOCOL. We don't make the rules. The customer was explained both options prior to making his decision. However, he chose to go with the cheaper option ($583.21) yet still expects to receive the retail benefit. This simply is not an option.

    RocTex was sent out by my home warranty company and let me say, I am absolutely appalled with the tech that came out. Complete dishonesty and fraud! The technician cut my wires in the condenser unit then proceeded to tell me someone had cut them years ago. I assume he did this because he didn't want to do the work. I'm not sure why he did it but now the warranty company say the **** system is not covered because it has been tampered with. WOW!!!!!

    RocTex was sent out by my home warranty company and I am *thrilled* with their service. They replaced my 22 year old ** (it was amazing it was still running). It was absolutely POURING that day and these poor guys needed to replace the outside unit, and they never complained. It wasn't very hot that day, but they were still able to demonstrate that the unit was working. They left, I was happy. The next day...it was hot, and the ** wasn't keeping up. I texted them and they IMMEDIATELY sent someone out, who discovered one of the ducts had come detached. (Note: this had to have happened several years prior; it had nothing to do with RocTex). He reattached it and I haven't had a problem since. They offered financing, and for my **** square foot house, the payment is about $95/month. My electric bill dropped by about $110, so I'm still in the green, only now I'm cool in the summer and warm in the winter. :)
