This company guaranteed that I was going to get my CDL. And I was not able to file this complaint earlier because I did not find them in the BBB search. The problem I had with them is that they kicked me out of Thier training program for an incident that never happened. They literally said I was being disruptive to other students. Was a complete lie. So they suspended my training for a few day. When I came back they immediately tried to get me to take the driving exam when I didnt have full training knowledge to pass. so I canceled it as the contract says I can. and ***** the owner called me and yelled at me was very belligerent and cursing at me. Saying I was not allowed to cancel the appointment with the **** I couldnt believe the words that where coming out of his mouth. At the conclusion of the call he told me to never come back. I wrote 3 letters to his company requesting a refund and never got a responds . While in his training Course several people complained about the service. That they weren't teaching properly and couldnt do lots of things to pass the exam at the *** in order to get the CDL. I am only seeking a full refund of $2,400 that I paid for unlimited training that I didnt get. I tried several times to upload documents but the site wont let me do more than 1 upload. So I included the reciepts to the transaction.Business response

The client is very confrontational. He states we guarantee a CDL which in the contract he signed states no where do we guarantee him a CDL. We offer two guarantees 1) if you pay attention and apply yourself to studying you will have a good opportunity to pass 2) if you dont pay attention and studying you will fail. Those are the only two guarantees we offer. In contract it states this.
As for the client not being able to return to complete the training, he was confrontational with the instructors, disrupting others trying to learn. Im contract he signed it states anyone who becomes confrontational to the instructors and disruptive to others trying to learn will be asked to leave and services will be terminated.
in contract he signed he agreed to no refunds and all sales were final. He also signed in contract and other forms that he has received the materials and services.
Law enforcement had to be called to remove this client off the property due to he refused to leave. He was confrontational to both law enforcement officers that instructed him to leave or they would take him to jail.
There are no refunds, all sales are final. The client agreed in writing to these terms. The client agreed in the contract to behave in an appropriate manner which he refused to do.Initial Complaint

I paid for tutoring for CDL class A on December 8, 2022.The lady over the phone asked that I pay via Zelle to avoid fees. I paid $1,000 for 4 hours of training. However, I have not heard back from the business regarding when the tutoring will happen. I followed up December 16 and again today 1/23/2023 I asked for a refund since no tutoring service was provided and close to two months have passed. They haven't provided the tutoring service but also won't provide a refund. On 12/16/2023 when I followed up for tutoring that I paid for (for my brother) I received a message via text that they will let me know when tutoring will occur. On 1/23/2023 I let them know that I thought my brother who was taking a course had passed his CDL and that I would like my refund (I found out later that he did not pass and will retake the final driving test) . I was told that there were no refunds and they would "see" if they can get a credit for some other service. I asked them to either provide the tutoring that I paid for or provide a refund and received no response. Since I am an attorney I drafted a letter to send to them (even though I don't practice consumer law). I found out that ***** does not allow you to charge back payments and discovered that's why they wanted me to pay via that method.Customer response

BBB,
This case has been resolved. I provided the company with a deadline before I would file lawsuit. The company called and has arranged for the tutoring that I purchased on December 8, 2022 to be completed today. The tutoring is being completed at this moment.
You may close this case.

I paid CDL Test Truck for a training course & rental of their truck to pass my CDL test in the state of Texas. I paid for a training course and met the instructor at the TA travel center in Rockwall, TX where I was supposed to get two days of 8-hour training going over backing, maneuvering and pre-trip. COSTING ME $1,350.00. first day 1/22 we started at 8:30am-1 pm and 1/23 started at 7am-12pm. A total of 9.5 hours and was short 6.5 hours that I had paid for. when it came time to testing the instructor of CDL Test Truck was supposed to meet me an hour before my test time to go over everything (part of what I paid for) and showed up 15 minutes before my test time. Unfortunately, I failed the pre-trip and had to retest. I had to pay an additional $450 to retest and rent another truck from CDL Test Truck. I studied the pre-trip packet they had provided and when it came time to retesting, I didn't pass my pre trip again. the office contacted me again and I paid another $500 for a 1 on 1 session with the instructor and rental of their truck. Again, I did not pass and was contacted by their office to rent another truck to retest. At this time, I did not have the additional $500 to spend and my CDL permit had expired (April 2022). fast forward to july,2022 I had to start the process over. I now have my CDL permit again, have taken the ELDT and now need to obtain my BTW course. I contacted CDL Test Truck to see if they would sign the BTW course certificate for me since I paid for that in January 2022 and completed it and was told I needed to pay another $1000 to redo the course and rent their truck once again. I had my Wife call the office to try to talk to them and the office lady three way called the owner Billy who then was very unprofessional, disrespectful and talked down to her. he would not allow her to speak and kept talking over her when she would try to talk, then told his secretary to hang up the phone on her and blocked our calls.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/08/11) */ ****** ****** received the goods and services paid for. The company has ****** ****** signatures and initials in contract written in 12 font Times Roman on receiving the goods and services in full he paid for. I challenge ****** ****** to produce a receipt stating he paid for the BTW ELDT in January??? The FMCSA ELDT did not come out until February 07, 2022. It was not even a requirement in January 2020 especially January 31, 2022 when ****** ****** tested at the TXDPS. ****** ****** is trying to get something for free. We are not in business to provide pro bono services. Trucks cost money, maintenance cost money, fuel cost money, insurance, employees, training materials cost money, these are expenses not free to the company. ****** ****** even stated he didn't have the $500 to retest which was a discounted price from $650 to help him retest. ****** ****** did used our vehicle on January 31,2022 at 7:30am to test for a class A CDL at the Dallas TXDPS CDL Mega Center. Unfortunately ****** ****** failed to give the TXDPS examiner the information the TXDPS needed to be issued a CDL. ****** ****** retested again using our truck on March 12, 2022 at 9:30am at the Dallas TXDPS CDL Mega Center. ****** ****** failed the TXDPS test again. Again that's not the companies fault. We have people pass daily that pay attention and study. The agreement between the company and ****** ****** did not include the new FMCSA ELDT training. ****** ****** and his wife demanded it to be given to them for free. The FMCSA ELDT training was not included in the package ****** ****** purchased. ****** ****** failed to keep up with his CLP permit expiration date at the TXDPS. We only rent trucks which ****** ****** received. We are not a school. The interaction between ****** ****** and the TXDPS is between ****** ****** and the TXDPS. ****** ****** wife did contact us. She was very demanding and blaming us for ****** ****** failure at the TXDPS. The wife demanded the comaopny to sign off on FMCSA ELDT training FMCSA ELDT BTW which is a federal crime and we will not sign off when ****** ****** has not been evaluated on the road as required by the FMCSA ELDT training requirements. The cost for the FMCSA ELDT training is $1,200 by itself. ****** ****** did not pay for that service. We did get off the phone with his wife, she was not listening that ****** ****** did not pay for services of the ELDT and she wouldn't allow a word in and tried talking over us so I instructed my secretary to terminated he call. We reserve the right to refuse serve when a client becomes combative, demanding & disrespectful, which she did. She called back, my secretary answered, the wife began yelling and demanding and my secretary informed her we received the right to refuse services and she terminated the call. The wife kept calling back to back, so I blocked her number. Again, I challenge ****** ****** to produce a receipt oa ANYTHING in writing from our company stating he paid for the BTW ELDT in January??? He can't! The company's advice, stop blaming everyone else for your failure. Accept responsibility and hold yourself accountable for your failure. Study what thousands have used to pass the TXDPS. Stop procrastinating which you did by waiting 1 year to test before your TXDPS CLP expired. You had 1 full year to complete the CDL. You waited until the last 3 weeks in a year to complete it. Not our fault, your fault. YOU had to do the new ELDT because you didn't go get another CLP before Feb 07,2022, YOU waited until July 2022 to start over, AGAIN YOU ****** ****** procrastinated and YOU now have to do the ELDT, thats's being LAZY and not paying attention. THAT is why you fail each time at the TXDPS, If you can't keep up with when your CLP is going to expire or go get a CLP when you failed, that's your fault. You should have went and got a new LP between January 31 and Feb 07 and you would have been grandfathered in, BUT YOU didn't, again NOT THE COMPANY"S FAULT! ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY!!! This discussion is closed. Have a good day and good luck getting your CDL. We refuse to offer you any services. A refund is denied.Initial Complaint

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/11) */ We have no record of this person. Please provide a receipt for services. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/08/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Receipt that company exist Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/08/15) */ We found record of this customer, ********* *****, from the receipt, Thank you. In conclusion, the client, ********* *****, did receive the services, a truck rental for her TXDPS skills test documented on 7/14/2022 at the Texas Department of Public Safety at ************ in ************ at 12:30pm. ********* ***** unfortunately failed the backing test. She blamed the truck, a 2020 Freightliner M2-106, & the 28' Hyundai trailer, she claimed were both defective when she attempted her backing skills on the TXDPS test because she stated, I quote, "no matter which way she turned the steering wheel the trailer kept going to the left. The truck and trailer are broken and defective." I informed her she needed training on how to back. The truck and trailer operated just perfectly in TXDPS backing test before hers and TXDPS test after hers. ********* ***** did not demonstrate the backing skills required by the TXDPS examiner to pass her to the road test. She did not pay for training. ********* ***** only paid to rent a truck which we delivered a truck as agreed. ********* ***** received the goods and services as agreed. This is not a legitimate complaint. This is a person that cannot accept accountability and refuses to be trained properly trying to do it on her own. The interaction between the TXDPS and ********* ***** are between ********* ***** and the TXDPS. We only rent trucks unless someone pays for our assistance in training for backing which ********* ***** did not want. Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2022/08/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I ********* ***** paid for a properly working & operating truck & trailer. And the owner should be taking ownership of not providing properly working equipment. I never stated that anything was wrong the truck it was the trailer that was not working properly & the trailer was not properly working. And a good business owner with a legit business would have shown that the equipment properly works before leaving but the owner Billy did not do so. A The owner was very aware of the issue and want to take advantage of the customer & get her money!.This business has numerous of complaints on his reviews and yelp confirming that equipment does not work properly & the owner is fraud that take advantage of the customer. I was not aware of the reviews until after the owner took advantage of me. I'm providing actually proof that the owner is taking advantage of the customers & just taking the customer money from the comments of other customers.
